We ate several times at Cafe Berta. The handmade pasta was always delicious. The service is a plus: very friendly and good prices. You can also have a great spumante under the trees. A nice choice at Siena.

We stopped in as soon as we walked thru porta. We wanted to get some snacks and caffe before we started walking around Siena. The panne forte a Siena specialty was outstanding and the Ricciarelli cookies were great. Also, great caffe.

I was impressed with the server. She was attentive and polite. The food was ok but not fantastic. Overall it was decent but the pasta was not as good as several others we have had on our trip. The baking was excellent though so dessert made up for it a bit. A neat location near one entrance to the walls... More

We ate here twice, both time the service was great. Wine by the bottle ranges from 15-25 and we had 3 different ones and all were great. I can recommend the gnocchi in a black truffle sauce, the veal with porcini mushrooms in a truffle sauce, the pici (noodle of the region) with mushrooms and sausage and their homemade soup.... More

We were lost and waiting for someting to happen...and then it did. The mixed grill fish with tonna salmon, and the best part, the swordfish was like a tapdancer on my tongue. So delicate, so many flavours. Harmonic wow. The tiramisu is what tiramisu should taste like

Its on the via Francigena route on the right as you pass Porte Camollia. Small area to stand and take a coffee. Outside seating. Pleasant service. Good range of pastries. Coffee also good. Like the café because its bright and friendly.

Just at one of the entrances of Siena's wall, nice clean place, with modern furniture (chairs too trendy yet, ask for cushions!). Good food at very reasonable pice, pici with mushrooms and sausages are quite good

We bought a chocolate croissant and a creme filed donut. Both were pretty good. The service was friendly. It's worth your time to stop in for s basic pastry.

Just inside the Camollio gate in Siena, a cool evening, two of us eating early but outside on a platform warmed by a gas heater. Waiter had perfect english, explained the local nuances of the food (gnocchi and seafood pici pasta). So nicely presented, followed by English black tea with milk (Te nero, latte - can be hard to find)... More
