They will rob you! Myself and two friends went. We were greeted by a waitress who was really very offended that we ordered the special. One of my friends didn't want anything so two of us got pizza and a beer. I gave my friend a bite of my pizza, no knife, fork or serviette was used. When we got... More

Four of us wanted to sit down for dessert and wine/beer. The first waiter, a lady, ushered us away, we were told we had to eat. She was overruled. If I remember right the menu said 10 EUR for a banana split, the bill was 22 for two persons. Only good thing is the view of the Palio, but all... More

Things were acceptable, maybe service was a bit iffy. Prices were ridiculous. So, if you want an acceptable pizza while watching the world go by at the Campo, go ahead. But don't be surprised if the price seems to be for a decent dinner. Better to have a coffee or a glass of wine and eat somewhere else, I think.

On the square - amazing traditional food and furnishings - live music - great service. Spinach Ravioli with Bolognaise sauce was amazing. Briad choice of traditional meals. Enjoyed it - could have spent all afternoon there.

Be prepared to share. One the selections are large; Two, your companion will insist. Tasty, interesting selections. Patient and delightful wait staff showed us why Sienna is considered the friendliest place in Italy. Ate outside, staff insured that sun was not directly on us as it was a warm day. And the Chianti was excellent; took staff's recommendation. Right on.

Stopped here after a morning walk to the bracilica and Fort. The weather was perfect. We wanted something to eat before returning to the hotel. Went to Il Campo and stopped here. There are clearly lots of places to stop. This place had a pleasant person outside inviting us to try it out. We were seated with a nice view... More

I was expecting mediocre food but have been pleasantly surprised. The caprese was fairly average but the Ragu was delicious. Our server has been very sweet and attentive. And really, to sit on this square and soak up the view - it is worth it.

The pizza and pasta dishes were very good. The staff was friendly and took care of our requests with no problems. Recommend that you do not show up at noon and expect the place to not be overflowing and the staff very busy. When in Italy it is normal to take your time to enjoy the meal. Lunch in under... More

It is one of the many restaurants located around Piazza del Campo. I believe that all of these restaurants are touristy and therefore you should not expect very special local food here. We have shared a ravioli with cheese and spinach and a pizza with four cheese, both were average. Nevertheless, I think it is not a bad option for... More

Ate here for lunch and it was average. Food was good actually, but let down by really poor service. Wine was reasonably priced. There are better restaurants than this locally. Recommend you search around.
