We arrived in Siena and walked onto the square (Piazza Il Campo), La Mossa had some decent reviews and we gave it a try. We both went for the specials: slow cooked boar and pork with onion sauce. Both were amazing. Best food these two weeks (and we are searching only good places on TripAdvisor :-)) Very nice staff, great... More

Situated on the main square in Siena, we expected this restaurant to be overpriced. Surprisingly it wasn't - in fact, it was the only restaurant we visited during our week in Tuscany that didn't have a cover charge! (Other restaurants in Italy, please take note!) We both had a salad, followed by lasagne. The food was very good and the... More

We were looking for a place to sit down at Il Campo for a quick snack. While most places there sent out people to advertise to tourists on their menus, this tiny osteria did not. We decided to walk in and take a look. We were immediately impressed by the smell and the daily specials on the blackboard. So we... More

We loved the place and the super friendly staff! Everything was delicious and the recommendation of wine was also very good. The only "downside" was that we ate too much :-) the place isn't too big so better book a table! Very recommendable!

We tried this place after reading reviews on TA. It's only a small door in the corner of il Campo and at first I thought it was just a deli and had a counter in, so is easy to miss. I think they do have tables outside but was a bit difficult to see which ones they were. We went... More

Dropped in with 2 young kids. The manager was extremely kind and informative. We told him we were vegetarian and he just made some suggestions, told us how much to order, and took care of things. I had a broccoli pappardelle pasta which was the best I've ever had... I'm still dreaming of it now.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant tonight. The food was extra special. My husband veal was cooked perfectly. My pasta with tomatoes and basil was just delightful and just the right amount. The wine list was very extensive and we both had wonderful choices. The restaurant itself was full of charm. The service though was lacking. It was... More

Excellent food! Don't just look at the menu and ask for the specials. Amazing wine menu and very reasonable prices. And opens off-hours, so very convenient for the tourist routine.
