We thoroughly enjoyed this osteria. Very reasonable prices and very good quality food entrees. Sometimes the more casual, family run restaurants are just as good, and sometimes better, than the four star, gourmet restaurants.

The restaurant open from 19:15 for dinner. Friendly atmosphere, tasty food. The check for couple with home vine was 51 euro.

By far the best food in Italy to date. The menu was simple yet the food was great. We had a Beef Stew and a Rabbit with Olives, rosemary potatoes as a side. Being lunch we just had a glass of house red wine which had great undertones of pepper and liquorice. The food was simply served but the flavours... More

The food was excellent with a very complex and refined menu. The service on the other hand was bad enough to write about. Strike one was the abruptness of our waitress. Strike two was the level of attention we were afforded. Strike three was how we were seated. All of the Americans were seated in the front and all of... More

I would not fault anything in this restaurant. Reasonably priced food and wine. Full of locals (it must be a sign of goodness) who enjoy a long lunch with nice vino. I enjoyed the beef steak with rosemary and had the house white. Be sure to make a stop for lunch here. I like it very much for the casual... More

I have dined here twice since moving to Siena a month ago. Both times I have had lovely food it cannot be denied. However on my second visit, my family (all english who do not speak italian) were visiting so they came with me. We were a group of 6, and were greeted with looks of disgust when asking for... More

We came to celebrate our first unniversary and we enjoyed the warm place and the wonderful food. We took the mixture antipasti which was excellent and then for the main dish we ate a tasty, flavourable fiorentina. The staff were very nice.

We went to this place because it was recommended by our hotel. We were not pleased at all. Although the prices were quite reasonable, the dishes were mediocre. We ordered a beef steak with a red wine sause and was not a good choice. The sause did not well suit the dish. Another dish we ordered was grilled vegetables (aubergine,... More

This restaurant was next door to our B&B. Looked busy when we walked by earlier so we made a reservation for dinner that night. It was fantastic. We started off with a pecorino potato truffle soufflé which was light & delicious. I had gnocchi with sausage and leeks while my husband had wild boar Bolognese. Then we split beef with... More

Not a fancy place and the English may not be perfect but the food was just ordinary good food that the Tuscans eat every day. Really enjoyed this one!
