The dining area is set out across an open terrace with views on to the nearby Tuscan vineyards and olive groves. The restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists and an advance reservation is essential to avoid disappointment. We did find that some of...the waiters were unnecessarily surly in their attitude but this did not detract from the overall experience, the setting and the excellent food that we had. Would definitely return again.More

There is nothing to fault this restaurant. The food, the view and the service were outstanding! As a family of 4 we found every course superb. We all had different things but all said it was the best food we’ve had in ages. Tuscan beef...stew yum! Homemade pasta and boar with white wine sauce simply delicious! The view of the Tuscan countryside is breathtaking. Must not miss this treat but you will need to book. Lovely end to our time in San Gimignano.More

Beautiful setting and view, extremely discourteous service. Very hot day, waiter insistent that there were no tables available in the shade, yet several clearly apparent. When questioned, the waiter said that they would be in full sun within minutes - yet they remained in the...shade for the whole of our lunch. A fairly average lunch, made far less enjoyable by poor service. Lots of other lovely restaurants to choose from!More

WoW best food I have ever had, i really enjoyed the place the food the view. If possible to give more than 5 points I would give. The waiters were very nice and gentle. I really loved the food so fresh and the wine was...equally good.More

It was extremely hot but we managed to have a seat with a view and fast service with delicious fresh dishes. Highly recommend the terrace for lunch or dinner

Because of the reviews on tripadvisor we went for a dinner here. The view is beautiful but the food is below average. Not wat you would expect in Italie and with these reviews. If you want to have a good quality of meal I would...go somewhere else. We had a vitella tonato with way to much mayonaise, thick slices and the meat was already discolerd. We also had a capresse of tomato and mozzarella. Both of de ingredients where hard and of cheap quality. The maincourses were also nothing special.More

Perfect dîner. View from the terrace is amazing. Waiters very kind (they managed to set a table for us 4 even if they were full). The waiter we had for the wine knows its stuff, he was of very good advice, we enjoyed.

Food, pasta was very tasteful, excellent. Staff mediocre and the biggest disappointed is that we booked well in advance and were promised to get table with the view/best table and they put as behind literally on the lawn and not on the terrace. Service uninterested.

Gorgeous views. Some of the best food we ate on our entire trip. Friendly and hospitable staff. Do not miss out on this lovely tuscan restaurant.

Our food was delicious. But make a reservation to sit on the edge of the patio so you get an unobstructed view of the hills of Tuscany! We watched the sun go down while we drank the house Chianti. Beautiful.

Eating outside on the patio in the warmer months really separates this restaurant from others. The views are beautiful. The food we had was very good, well above average on out two week road trip of Italy.
