The first decision upon arrival once you're sat down - 5 or 7 course tasting menu, and you have to keep one of those for dessert. But there were 5 we wanted to chose plus dessert! The food is simply stunning. We were given a..."surprise" starter, main, and dessert, plus petit-fours at the end. So our 6 courses ended up as 10. We went for the wine-pairing which was lovely and worked in all cases apart from the Pinot Noir with the seafood risotto, which in our opinion was mis-judged.
That was my only complaint! The environment, furniture, crockery (seriously - it was stunning and added to each dish), the very friendly and relaxed service and staff was all perfect. When you spend that much money on dinner you find yourself nervous beforehand that you'll get good value. Our (high) expectations were exceeded. Thank you LINFA team, you made us very happy.More
We were lucky enough to book in for a meal whilst staying locally. We didn't know what to expect, but everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was mind blowing
Just delicious, the only trouble was deciding what to have. My favourite dish...was the ravioli, exquisite. I would say the wine pairing is a must to try the delicious wines. We had such a lovely experience. I would love go back again.More
Temporarily moved 50 metres down the road so we would around for abit before finding it but then you walk into a little oasis. You should really take the egg with truffle (first item on the menu I believe) it was amazing and copious.
The...beef was fantastic as was the gnocchi (photo) and lots of little treats in between.
Leave it to the sommelier for the wine and you’re in very good hands. I chose a white wine from the north of Italy and it’s the first Italian white that I really enjoyed.
A must go.More
My wife invited me a few days ago to celebrate a late 40th birthday and I must admit because of the current situation I was a bit hesitant but even if that evening was very quiet in the restaurant we were treated with an amazing...cuisine (les petits plats dans les grands) : superb presentation, very good products and super tasty. On top of that the wine pairing was top level! We went for the 5 course meal which was amazing and the staff were adorable! Such a great experience and a wonderful souvenir! I have been to quite a few Michelin star restaurants (Belgium, France and Italy) and this restaurant is way above average 1 star Michelin! Thank you so much and I hope things will come back to normal very soon! We hope to come back one day!More
This is our first time in a Michelin star restaurant and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the warm welcome, to the staff's knowledge of wine and dishes, to their flexibility with our choices of dishes...
We spent 3.5 hours there and...enjoyed every minute!More
This restaurant has definitely earned its Michelin star ⭐️. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Service was exceptional as was the food! A fabulous find hidden away in San Gimignano . They were also very accommodating to our dietary restrictions
We enjoyed a tasty and beautiful 5 course lunch is the outside courtyard of this tiny restaurant. Creativity was foremost in each dish presented. It was a delightful side trip to the Florentine countryside. The only downside was that the bathroom needs freshening up. This...is, after all, a Michelin star restaurant.More
