I'm puzzled by the very positive reviews this restaurant has received. It's possible that some change has occurred lately, perhaps a new chef, who knows? My wife and I had a very ordinary dinner here. The only thing we liked was the cheese, and you can't give the restaurant much credit for that.

Booked a table for a birthday lunch for 2. Sat at a table by the window with a great view. Food was delicious and my dessert of apple cake came complete with a candle! When we came to pay the bill the lady (think it was the owner) told us the wine was on the house. What a lovely thing... More

Made midday reservations for a Sunday evening for 7 people without any problems at all. The owner was very nice and they opened on time. My group had a variety of dishes, all of which were excellent. The service was good as well. The view from just outside the restaurant was spectacular overlooking the Tuscan countryside.

We visit Tuscany every year, and every year we make sure we dine here at least twice, the food is excellent, the host is always friendly and recognises us year after year, despite the number of guests they have. Best to book to avoid disappointment, and you will be disappointed if you miss out

From the moment of entry to this Italian restaurant you are made very welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant is magical especially with all the Christmas decorations and tree. The service is efficient and friendly . The menu is very varied and even my friend who is an extremely fussy eater found plenty of dishes to eat.The steak he ordered... More

The decor was lovely and romantic, classic Tuscany. Jazz music in the background. Food was great. Try their saffron risotto. We ordered Florentine steak, but didn't realize that is best served rare or medium rare to get the flavor of the seasoning. We wish they would've chimed in and recommend that because we ordered ours medium. Prices matched the value... More

We came across this delightful restaurant by chance and are very grateful we did! The food was excellent and cooked to order. The owners were lovely. Very cheerful and friendly. We tried the house wines which were both good and inexpensive. All the food is locally sourced and some from their own farm. We enjoyed it so much we're returning... More

Stumbled across this restaurant whilst strolling around the town. Just outside are the most amazing views of the town and there are a couple of tables for guests too. We chose to eat inside. Quaint little restaurant with a lovely ambiance and jazz quietly playing in the background. Food was some of the best we've had in Italy and the... More

This restaurant is located off the central square with great views of the surrounding hills. The menu features typical Tuscan cooking with specialties each night. We were pleased to see that the menu offered choices other than the main stay of pasta dishes and pizza. Our group enjoyed an excellent chicken dish that was prepared with care and well served. The restaurant is... More

Description
The restaurant Dulcisinfundo is in front of the most suggestive breathtaking view of San Gimignano. Thanks to the medieval milieu and two deep granaries in the old floor, here time seems to have stopped. We propose the typical Tuscan cuisine and the raw materials used in preparing our dishes are of the highest quality and only served in season. Our chefs prepare all our recommended dishes individually and carefully. From the “antipasti” right through to the desserts and ice creams, everything is prepared using only selected products. We are also farm managers and offer you our property’s products. to ensure freshness, authenticity and just- picked flavour. Vegetables, aromatic herbs, pure saffron of S.Gimignano and extra virgin olive oil come from our own farm “ Fortezza de' Cortesi” only 5 km far from the restaurant. Several wines are available and some of them are very prestigious, however it's our pleasure suggesting to our guests high quality level products. We are open from Easter up to first days of November and during the Christmas and end of the year period. The day off is on Wednesday.
