Strong four star restaurant. We find fish baked in salt keeps it moist but this is not commonly offered. Had it here and it was great. Also found starters and desserts very good. They get busy so reserve before you go.

Coming from london to see the stones in lucca i slept at nearby hotel bologna and they addressed me here. I had gnocchi alle vongole (quite rare in my knowledge) and tagliata con aceto balsamico and pecorino. All good. Service was attentive and owner gave...More

We arrived at this restaurant around 14:00 o clock. Thankfully they still had a table for us. We ordered tuna tartare and big prawns. Both dishes were delicious and well flavoured. Then we ordered gnocchi with vongole and risotto with octopus. It was delicious!!!! Absolutely...More

A refreshing change from the mostly meat-dominated Tuscan eateries with a large selection of seafood choices on the menu, at reasonable prices. Our primi, or first courses of home made basil gnocchi with clams & bottarga and the ravioli filled with grouper in a rich...More

Traveling to Pisa for the first time, we just found this restaurant by accident. Seafood is excellent and very well prepared - not overcooked, not raw and just enough to still taste the freshness of the seafood. We brought our three kids with an 8...More

We were a party of four and went following hotel recommendation. The food is local Italian style, very tasty with a good reasonably priced wine list. Initially they said they had no tables as the outside area was full, but then the boss offered us...More

We just arrived in Pisa from Puglia and believe it or not, we were famished! Our hotel concierge at Hotel Bologna recommended this restaurant, less than a 10 minute walk. The restaurant is clean and well appointed but not fancy. The wine list was decent...More

This restaurant is just over the bridge in South Pisa but well worth the walk from the duomo. It has a good atmosphere and friendly service. We had the fish ravioli and the tuna and both were excellent.
