My friend and I tried a few places local to our hotel. This place was the best. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was buzzing. We had goats cheese special and calamari to start, we both had carbonara for our main (I know that sounds boring but it was awesome) with a side of... More

Just wonderful, fresh unadulterated Tuscan food. Fresh seafood, wonderful wild rabbit desserts as you would expect with the local wines to back it up in your house options.... bonus being it's priced well. Please go and enjoy

We had a great meal at Il Peperoncino. The staff were very welcoming, and the food was wonderful--delicious ravioli and great desserts. Prices were also very reasonable. This was my last night in Italy and it was great to have it end on such a good note.

After having your fill of the leaning tower and surrounds, take a voyage down Via Santa Maria. Like Columbus, don't be satisfied with mediocrity, and walk briskly past the tourist restaurants and their touts lining the street. Head directly to number 95, just bit further down, were a small doorway will open you up to a true Italian dining experience.... More

We arrived here late in the afternoon and the restaurant was about to close. The host very kindly offered to keep the kitchen open a little longer and we were delighted he did. I was amazed that simple ingredients could taste so good! Wonderful authentic Italian food and fabulous hospitality Couldn't ask for more

We looked at the menu and we were not sure about it..how wrong we were. The food was excellent. The service was fabulous. The owner came out and helped us by explaining the menu and the specials. Assuring us it was fresh..it certainly was..the freshed ive had it a long time. Mussels to start and rabbit ravioli going against reccomendations.... More

Beautiful goats cheese & roasted pepper starter followed by seafood spaghetti and smoked salmon salad. Good size portions, well cooked, lovely house red wine (1L €11). Friendly host, really enjoyed our lunch

Such a warm, family run restaurant. The food was very good--loved the lasagna and the antipasto platters. Good house wine as well.

This is a very good family run restaurant. Donetto and his wife runs the restaurant with his wife in the kitchen and him and the front of house. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Will definitely visit again! GREAT!!!
