Ordered a mixed sea food dish and a glass of house white wine. the meal was very good and reasonably priced. I recommend Ambaraba to... More

Looked around the vicinity and opted to sit outside here in the evening .. smiles from the get go by both waitresses . We have 2 starters and both were really ample for another person to share they came with a brown paper bag of bread which was a novel touch . For main course we both choose ravioli one... More

The food was from the supermarket. Really poor quality. I had to ask for the steak to be cooked properly after eating the rawest steak ever. Still couldn't get it right. Took forever to get the bill and change.

This was a lovely little restaurant, we opted to sit inside due to the noise from the construction work across the road and the staff were super friendly and attentive. I really wasn't expecting the fillet of beef to be so tasty, but it was certainly a lovely surprise! The seafood was ordered by all of the other tables and... More

Magnifico! We had a tour in Tuscany for about 8 days and this is by far the best place we ate! We tried several dishes and they were all awesome! We stayed one day more in Pisa only for trying Ambaraba's cuisine. Excellent!

A very disappointing overall experience. The appetizers were good, but the main dish (some kind of white fish) was absurdly large and tasteless. The same vegetables served with the appetizers reappeared in the main dish and were totally out of place. Plus the owner "forgot" to give us a regular bill.

So good we made a return visit during our stay. The waitress was so helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to eat there away from the hoards of tourists nearer to the Tower. The food was excellent as was the service.

This tiny restaurant has some lovely tables outside. We had oysters and baby octopus followed by mixed fish. The house was drinkable and overall we had a lovely evening. Well situated for the Arno and our hotel, The Royal Victoria.

Called in on a Sunday with friends for the set price lunch. We had the seafood option and it was superb, good value and lovely friendly staff (English spoken). Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely friendly helpful staff who greeted us with a great smile the moment we entered. It helped that she spoke English. The environment was cosy and warm. You'd know that it serves good Italian food as it was packed with locals. And of course, the food was great!
