We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. So we ate here on our last night in Italy. The food was divine, the service exceptional and the best wine we had had our whole trip. Seek this gem out you won't be disappointed.

We had dinner here on the 25th. and 27th September. The food and service was top class. Probably our best meals in Pisa during our 5 day stay. The Osteria also has disabled access. Fine dining at it's best. B.T. Glasgow.

We had contacted Robert (owner/manager) well in advance of visiting Pisa to arrange booking a table and to request that he makes the setting as romantic as possible as we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday and our anniversary. Upon arriving Robert gave us the option of eating either at the restaurant or on a private roof terrace at... More

This was my favourite meal in Italy. The waiters were very good natured and attentive. We dined outside in a quiet side street. My starter course of Olive oil ice cream was both imaginative and delicious. My main corse of duck with caramelised grapefruit was superbly tasty. I shouldn't forget to comment on the copious supply of home made breads.... More

Had enough of indifferent food in tourist trap restaurants? Highly recommended, this was one of the best restaurants we went to in the region. Thoughtful food featuring local ingredients, a wine waiter who knew what he was talking about and a pleasant atmosphere. There is a small but interesting menu created by someone who clearly loves what they do and... More

We found this Osteria quite by chance wandering the area hungry and it was absolutely fantastic. Full of locals enjoying dinner, it had a great atmosphere. Service was very friendly and welcoming and although we speak Italian, the waiting staff also spoke English. The food was outstanding - homemade traditional food with a modern twist such as the starter of olive... More

As newly weds on our honeymoon, we we lucky to have found such a wonderful place to dine, we loved it so much that we went back for our last night in Pisa. A newly opened family run restaurant with a passion for food. We were greeted by friendly faces who made us feel very welcome. If there was anything... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Pisa but because everywhere is so small EVERYWHERE was full, it was near enough impossible to find anywhere. The first restaurant we went to recommended osteria Bernardo but because it was out of the main square we weren't sure it was what we were looking for. When we couldn't get in anywhere... More

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant on our last night in Pisa. It had only recently opened the day before and we were immediately drawn to the beautiful artwork that adorned the walls of the main dining room. Our waiter directed us toward a fantastic bottle of Bolgheri Superiore and was also kind enough to translate the... More

Had a very special evening here. The host is very welcoming and understands how to make his customers deel comfortable. Has the artichoc salade and tuna, which were amazing. Very nice mix of flavours and textures. Had the chestnut mousse for dessert, nicely prepared but not for me. Nice offer of dessert wine on the house. Excellent place, highly recommended.
