It’s my second time at this restaurant and both experiences have been incredible. The food was simple but so tasty, wonderful service and beautiful views..you couldn’t really ask for more! Would definitely recommend this place.

We visited here 10 years ago and left with vivid memories. On our recent return with our family of 9 we just added more wonderful memories of a lifetime. Yes it's a hike up a hill to get there but that is quickly forgotten when...the meal starts. From appetizers, seconds and main courses to digestivos every dish we had was excellent. Yes when the place filled up service slowed but Italy is not a place you expect to get in and out of in an hour. So we sat back and enjoyed the sunset over Florence and a leisurely meal with our family. Oh did I tell you it's also away from the sounds of the city. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence.More

We were there in 2013 and the food was good (It's very difficult to screw up pasta). I had arthritis and was quite a chore to walk up the hill. When we finished, they offered to give us a ride to the bus stop. Totally...courteous service.More

We had pasta which was excellent, also service was great and quick unlike many other restaurants in Italy where dinner can take two hours…

A Bisteca Florentine is not particularly difficult to cook but it starts with good meat and great seasoning and they do a great job!Outstanding and service is incredibly professional and courteous.Great wine list with many half bottles.Lucas our head waiter-sommelier was charming and excellent 🇮🇹🍷

totaly not worth the score it has. If you’re looking for good food go into Florence instead. The views from the restaurant are good however not worth it. When one sees that a restaurant is on top of the score for a city you get...excited about the food, don’t. The quality of meat, the service and the audience is not what you expect. However, it is worth the price, it’s not an expensive place! So if you’re looking for a good meal for a buch, this is your place! If you’re looking for amazing good, go to Florence.More

Went for a dinner for 2 on a Tuesday night. Had pre-booked a table via emails (apparently that was the only option), which I had to translate on Google Translate because they kept replying in Italian... I wanted to book for 20:30 but they urged...me to arrive at 20:00 because apparently we had to arrive early to get the best table inside... even though that was the idea of booking a table in the first instance... When we arrived, the whole place was 80% empty so I asked if we could be seated at the terrace garden outside (given all empty). The waiters had sympathy for the request but then the restaurant owner showed up out of nothing (uninvited) in shorts and t-shirt and started shouting that either we sit where we’re told or we leave... quite rudely so. Not really the welcome we were hoping for. The food itself was pretty average - we tried the cheese selection and salami selection for starters - they were ok. Then we went for 2 pastas from the menu which I’d rate 5/10. It is a shock to me that this place has such a rating on trip advisor. Makes me question all restaurant ratings. Service was also average at best. For instance - we asked for a bottle of water - they brought the water but didn’t pour in the glasses... normal stuff you’d expect at such a place.More

The best restaurant in Fiesole and well worth the climb up the steep Via San Franceso, the stunning view over Florence coming as an added bonus. The cooking is Italian but with a twist - eg: a crescent ravioli stuffed with a pear, pecorino and...Roquefort cheese - and the best fillet steak I have ever had. The gregarious owner meets and greets guests, many clearly regular customers, and generates a super-friendly atmosphere.More

I booked a table for 2 for diner at this restaurant mainly because of the great reviews. I must admit, the location is really amazing and the place looks great. Although the food was satisfactory, the service was very unpleasant. Not even the slightest smile...or trace of kindness, despite our efforts to speak Italian. The employee was lacking goodwill and we had the feeling we were not really welcomed there. I don't know, maybe we were expecting too much because of the reviews, or that we had badluck with the server, but we wouldn't recommend this place.More
