a great gelato shop to stop at on your way to Plaza Michelangelo or Fort Belvedere. Most flavors are gluten free. They had delicious Oreo and dark chocolate.

I came across this gem back in 1994 when I was backpacking through Europe. Fast forward 23 years and I had to bring my family back. The gelato was just as amazing as I remembered! Everyone in my family loved it!

I used to come here regularly as a student in Florence 35 years ago, and I was looking forward to coming back. Please to say that little has changed. Still making delicious creamy gelato and sorbetto. My favorite is the amaretto. It's also nice to be able to sit in the small piazza outside to savor your gelato.

Don't plan to walk anywhere while you eat this gelato. It's overwhelming. Sit on the bench in front of the church and let yourself be completely consumed by it. My favorite was cioccolata ricci, but enjoy what you like, and try something new. Unbelievably good.

Great flavor and great variety of flavors!!! Every time I visit Florence I got to stop at this Ice Cream Shop to try a delicious Gelato!! Even though it is a little crowded most of the time, it is still worth the waiting. One of my favorite Gelato Shops in the world!!

My wife and I came here on a recommendation from a local when got engaged in 1998, we've tried many others over the years.. when we were married in Florence a year later, with holidays and with each our 4 kids' Cchristenings. But Vivoli stays at the top of the list and is always a priority stop. We hadn't been... More

We tried different flavors of ice cream-classic ones: vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and more unique: coffee, passion fruit, hazelnut and pear. All of them were full of flavor and delicious. My favorite were passion fruit and hazelnut. I will be dreaming about them... Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Found this place when we were on a bike tour of Florence- our guide told us this was the place where the locals went, that it was the only place in the area that used all natural ingredients, not mass produced powders. We immediately went to check the place out after the ride and ended up going back at least... More

I visited Vivoli during free time on our tour at the recommendation of our guide. Vivoli did not disappoint. I had 2 flavors- the chocolate cherry and the chocolate mousse. Both were divine. Highly recommend!
