This restaurant was beautiful from the moment you enter the front door. The service is very professional, the waiters were fast and efficient. There were 6 of us and we started by sharing a large platter for fresh seafood. Then shared two different fish courses one with fresh asparagus and a simple sauce of lemon and white wine. We ended... They send their van to harbour to buy the best of the days catch as it is unloaded of the boat, then with the fish still flipping and the crusteceans still crawling and nipping, they speed back to Florence where it is displayed for customers to choose from.. They believe is flash cooking or no cooking, which gives you the... More

We were 4 friends who love seafood. Our friends have been there few times but this was the first time for us. Arrived at the hour I have reserved and met with a very cold response from the man who was behind the cashier/counter at the entrance. He told us he could not find the reservation but fine, he will... More

Two friends and I go to Florence every January as a girls trip. We tend to visit our favorite restaurants but as we had an extra day in town, we though to try something new. One of the girls recommended this place and it was quite swanky inside (minus the cheesy photo montage at the entrance with all the "VIPs"... More

We loved everything about this restaurant. we wanted a fish restaurant after several days of exposure to Florentine Steak and this restaurant was recommend by our hotel. Starting at the beginning the welcome is very friendly. we sat at our table and a glass of prosecco appeared very quickly without even asking. The head waiter was very friendly effortlessly switching... More

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant and it was a great dinner! Of course the restaurant isn't in the old city. But the walk isn't far away and to walk in a beautiful city even in a November night is nice! The welcome was lovely and the waiter was excellent. We followed the recommendations according the catch of the... More

Our third visit to Fuor d'acqua in the last 15 years. Our first visit was when it first opened and it was a rustic trattoria, now it's a fine dining seafood destination. The seafood is fresh and delivered everyday from the coast so the menu depends on what is freshly caught and brought into the fish market daily. The dining... More

This was without doubt bt one of the best meals we have had. From the raw/sashimi intro, to a succession of three 'appetisers' - the siscilian red prawns delicious as was the olive mash with small goujons of sole, on to a perfect squid risotto, langoustines and a baked ?sea bass with vegetables this was perfection. DElightful and professional service,... More

By far the best seafood restaurant in Florence and personally one of the best anywhere... When you come in you come in for the quality of the fish...nothing complicated, no tomato sauce, no harsh seasonings, no garlic...you come in for , in my view, primarily "crudo "..pasta is great as well..beautiful decor, service is good enough..great selection of wines..for the...
