Popped in for a take out whilst staying nearby on business. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my order was prepared incredibly quickly. However, the food itself was hugely disappointing : ( The spring roll and egg fried rice were both very greasy. The sweet & sour prawns had soggy batter and the sauce just tasted of a... More

I have absolutely no idea why there are bad reviews of this place. The food is consistently brilliant, not greasy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Will continue to order from this place. Best Chinese in Florence for sure.

Really good Chinese food in middle of Florence. Attentive service, reasonably priced, tasted great. Great vegetarian options. Pancake dish same as moo shu in States. Restaurant accommodated changes to dish based on our preferences.

One of the worst Chinese meals that I have ever had. I have the luck to travel to China quite often and I would not expect a decent Chinese in Italy, but this meal was really poor even by Italian standards...

Tried Chinatown after having quite a few days of Italian food. 6 of us were dining and 3 of us enjoyed our dishes. Unfortunately one of our starters were forgotten about and others thought their curry wasnt very flavoursome and the portion size of some of the dishes wasn't great. Things seemed to come out at different times which meant... More

A nice break from the regular Italian food on offer. Try the chicken hot pot and Shanghai fried rice

Found this place just walking by and wanted a change. Seafood soup was really good with plenty of shrimp, mussels, some crab and more. Probably could share if you add one more entree. Rice dish with ham OK just not to our taste. Spring rolls hot and tasty.

Very limited English but did not matter. The food was very nice and price was fair. You can eat in or take away

Simple chinese food. Not Cantonese but more mainland style. Reasonable priced, wholesome food. Chili prawns were nice and so was the capsicum beef.

after a tired morning of walking / shopping near the market, we decided to use an app to search for the closest Chinese restaurant for lunch. Saw a picture of the "sour and spicy soup" we thought we could give this place a try. Because we were not very hungry so we originally wanted to opt for a simple "noodle"... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
