The food is ok... but we came on a Friday night and there's a live music group playing... but seriously it's too much!! I can't even hear myself!!! Everyone yelling.... also the service is pretty bad too.

The ten euro buffet deal available from 6.30pm - 8.30pm is exceptional value and the food served is freshly prepared and exceptionally tasty. Madam and myself had walked miles during the day and we each worked our way through two plates of many different things along with a good glass of wine. With the addition of a bottle of water... Thanks thanks thanks. You've caught the sign. You enjoyed all that the Tamerò buffet give you at the time of the Aperitif. Among other things, focacce and pizzas are made at the moment in its PIZZERIA which has been opened recently and is based on tradition and innovation with a maniacal attention to the selection of antique and bio flours... Nice hole in the wall (literally) in one of the old, hip areas of Firenze. Lots of young people and an interesting menu that featured a variety of pastas and sauces. They even had one dish that you could order four types of ravioli and four small jars of Deven deferent sauces. Prices were relatively inexpensive. Recommended!

my boyfriend and I had dinner there on a late saturday night, we waited 5 mins and got a nice table outside. The service was great, very nice, but most important the food was DELICIOUS ! You must take the "potato plate" which is gnocchi and omg the best Ive ever had ! (Lunch and dinner menu are different)

We came across this place when we were walking around in the area. I had the pasta with potato, mint, pancetta, prawns and pumpkin because it sounded a bit different, it certainly didn't disappoint, my only want was to have more! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fairly quick and cheap dinner.

Was recommended to visit this restaurant by a local florentine, which I can understand why they would enjoy it. Great restaurant for locals as you could not fault the food. When we arrived it was very confusing and the staff were not much help to tourists (which is understandable as it's a bit far out of the tourist sights) the... More

Thank you so much for being our welcome guest and especially compliment you've made to our kitchen ("the food was lovely") and our fresh pasta. And thanks to have highlighted that our prices are average compared to your experiences. Sorry you thought and had the feeling that our staff is not accessible for foreign tourists but, forgive me, probably it... More

Florence has many dinner choices. We ended up at Tamero on the other side of the Arno river where they make incredible pastas. We asked chef John Marco to cook us anything he wanted. Whatever was fresh. What fun and what great food. Octopus was fresh in black ink futucini. The atmosphere was hip with graffiti on the walls. The... More

Someone recommended this place to us for homemade pasta. It was really good. We stopped for lunch and I had the spinach ravioli. The atmosphere was really unique and the staff was super friendly. Definitely check it out.

Restaurant located in Florence downtown. Meat/fish, pasta and salads on menu. My boyfriend ordered gnocchi and aubergine crostone but instead of gnocchi he got another pasta. Not a big deal: the waitress was ready to change but he decided to eat the wrong dish. I had a salmon toast with salad and cheese. Food was good but nothing special. Service... More

We thank you for your review and compliments that made the Tamerò. The service and timing of that you enjoyed and this makes us very happy. The fact that you want to come back to us makes us proud. We are happy that the waitress was responsive despite the misunderstanding and that he proposed to you right away a change... More

Tamero is the coolest restaurant in Florence in the heart of Oltrarno: piazza Santo Spirito. The restaurant is well known for the express hand made pasta. After the 11.00 p.m. Tamero is a club where you could see the best jazz and rock band play good music.
