This trattoria is delicious, it is slightly out of town, although worth the walk. Food tasted traditional and felt like a cosy home cooked meal.

Absolutely loved this place. It's off the beaten path and very local. We happened to be the only people there, so that made for a very quiet dinner. We ordered the deal where you get a few starter plates, bistecca fiorentina, dessert, and a bottle of wine. It was the best dinner we had during our month-long travel spree.

We ventured here on a recommendation from our hotel and were not disappointed.we did not want any mass produced tourist place.it was a nice family rubbed traditional trattoria.they did have menus in English, but they spoke hardly any English .it worked out fine. A smile gets you everywhere.nice varied menu and good prices.we had a ravioli dish with spinach truffles... More

Average food, which price is slightly above average. Too much tables in room, noisy, service quite slow and does not know that soup and main course should be not served at same time.

This place is family owned and run, and makes fresh delicious food. I read some of the reviews saying they are not friendly when it comes to tourists, and that may be true, but you can't walk in to a restaurant in a different country and demand/expect they speak your language. No one speaks English there, every one (diners and... More

Returned after some months to this trattoria, I had again my favorite ribollita, the typical vegetables soup with bread of the northern part of Tuscany. Before they served some tasty "bruschetta", then after I had the "fiorentina" steak with baked potatoes. They are not cooking sophisticated dishes, but just typical, traditional ones, and do it in a very good way.... More

In Italy it is difficult to eat really badly but, if you are a tourist in Florence and you find by chance a good trattoria like this, you really do not need any more to look for a better eating during your vacation. I appreciated very much the many simple and typical courses (like “zuppa di cipolle”, “gnocchi” or “tagliatelle”... More

The restaurant was suggested to us by the hotel we were staying at as being good. As soon as we walked in the door we felt like the owners and other patrons did not want us there, the service was average whilst the locals got top priority, which was ok but it just added to the atmosphere. We speak a... More

Went there twice as it was very close to our hostel. The food is ok,classic dishes, but they are using waaaaay too much salt:( The gnocchi and the onion soup are very good though! The second time I took a pork dish (5 extremely salty bites of pork meat with red sauce) at 13 Eur. We paid 50 euros/2 persons... More

I'm used to eat here some times per year during meetings of the sport association I work for, and every time I take home with me some "ribollita" and "pappa al pomodoro" to freeze and eat on later time. They are quite famous in Florence, as you can see from dedications hanging on the walls, and keep cooking food in... More
