We ordered Spritz. When they arrived, my husbands was fizzy, which it is supposed to be, but mine was completely flat. At 10 euros each, I decided to send mine back. The waiter told me that Prosecco (which makes up the Spritz) is supposed to be flat. I told them to make me another one anyway and that it was... More

But after walking up to the Piazzale Michelangelo from Ponte Vecchio the views from the outside café section are to die for and it was great to sit and rest on the veranda and just chill out and as others have mentioned try to drag your drinks out as long as possible. Actually the task to take time here is... More

Great view of the city, Go at sunset. Order drinks and just try to drag it out as long as possible. If plan to have dinner, you must take it upon yourself to oder you drinks well in advance... Food comes out within minutes, Drinks take closer to half an hour. The staff can't figure out how to manage that... More

Beautiful view to the city, very elegant, comfortable seats. We had only deserts and drinks, they were very tasty and very expensive. We have been dissapointed by the service, the waiters have been very formal, not pleasant and seemed not to like their job. Overall good food but not enjoyable stay.

Stop at La Loggia for a light lunch after visiting the Rose Gardens. The view of the city is breathtaking. Service was attentive but not the most friendly. Our lunch of a Misto Antipasti and Fried Artichoke with Poached Egg was a nice change from pasta. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if in the... More

We had a very nice lunch here for a pretty reasonable price. The service was pretty good, although we did go when it was very quiet.

Great views and decent dessert however the coffee is always sub par and the service is very poor. I'd recommend coming here to sit outside and get a few photos over a dessert and leaving. The coffee is very expensive as is the food.

A good lunch and a good dinner not measured only in stars, but also smiles and that's what we offer to our customers. Our team offers a thoughtful service but never intrusive, trying to form a relationship based on the quality and confidence that will endure over time. In the summer you can enjoy your lunch or dinner under the Loggia outside and in front of the Garden Porch in elegant ambience and a panoramic setting of rare beauty. On colder days and in the winter we move inside, where you will host two plush rooms and cozy with a beautiful view of the Piazzale Michelangelo and the city of Florence. The kitchen is the heart of the restaurant, where they are prepared every day with great fantasy: ... The right menu for every occasion ... ... The right flavor for every palate ...

Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighbourhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!
