With all the flavor Italian food could express, sandwiches at this bar are just tasteless, unfortunately. No olive oil or spices, just a piece of plain bread, a slice of tomato, and some mozarella. I feel something was missing to support the flavor of these ingredients.

I went here originally looking all down the street for a coffee with soy milk, they had it here and it was so good and cheap that I came back every day of my holiday! By the 3rd day the guy knew my order

I absolutely love this place, and let me tell you why. They have the beat tasting sandwiched ever, and they sell them for a reasonable price. Because of the proximity to The Duomo, every single place overcharges for everything...this place doesn't. But the main thing is not the fact that they have great food for low prices, its their service.... More

We stopped by this place for a quick sandwich on our way to the train station (just a block away). It was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff!

We recently holidayed in Italy near Florence and had a couple of trips into the city. This was one of the first bars we came across after coming out of the train station and we just popped in for a sandwich. This is a snack bar serving various types of sandwiches, which can be served not or cold, pastries, coffees... More

One block from my hotel and train. 10 euros and my wife and I had a quick lunch and beers. Great taste and friendly staff even though my Italian is horrendous.

Love everything about this place! Staff are friendly, and it's packed but still good service in the mornings. Lots of locals have this place as a regular...and I will too during my stay in Florence. They've remembered me each morning.

We are from Sofia-the capital city of Bulgaria.During our stay in Florence my mother and me visited this cafe very often. We have never tasted such tasty capuccino and snacks. The service is great-friendly and attentive. The prices are OK.,even much cheaper than those downtown. The location is also good-it is near the railway station. The atmosphere is nice and cozy.

Whenever my wife and I visit Italy it is sometimes a chore to find a large cup of coffee to get us going in the morning (or afternoon). The Bar Cinquanta Roso's the place -- big cup, and "to go" even. Order the Large Americano. There's a nice friendly guy who's usually there running things. They've got some good pastries,... More
