Kind of simple canteen, with a terrace. Dishes are local and quantities are good, quality ..ok. Wine offer is rather poor, which is pretty awkward considering one is in the midst of Chianti .. Definitely not my favorite in that area ..

We ended here our first night in Florence and it was quite late. But they were able to accomodate us and still cook for us. Service was very good. Food was very good as well, trattoria style. Pasta portions are super generous and this worked very well for us given we were sharing with the kids. We had a full... More

Excellent food, off the beaten track great prices. Chill out with a nice glass of wine and try the tripe for something authentic. Trust me, it's great!

We were a bit unsure of the place, as the starters were very bulky and simple. I went inside the restaurant from the outside seating and saw a family having a huge bowel of mussels, so we ordered it!! Wow we where blown away.

just outside the tourist trap, a small local restaurant with a friendly staff and good value for money food. Considering this is Florence I would call this a cheap restaurant, that I will visit again later,

Whenever I am in Via Gioberti during lunch time, I try to stop by for an excellent, home cooked style meal. The restaurant is very popular with locals and serves tasty, simple food. A trattoria ambience adds to its charme.

With a recommendation from the hotel we found Di' Sordo up the road. Excellent local food is the simple response. Locals dine at Di' Sordo so expect good portions. My Italian is basic, however, with Google Translate we had a really good laugh in trying to get the order sorted - that and a glass of complimentary wine for the... More

If you want to experience really local atmosphere, this is the place to go. It is not a big or a fancy restaurant, but it is simply great. Good food, not very expensive and great wine. And it is really close to center. Try tiramisu for a full italian experience.
