It was my partner's birthday and I wanted to find a special place in Florence that would also cater for a vegetarian (myself) which can be a struggle in Italy. After hearing some horror stories about overpriced tasting menus and sneaky extras added onto the...More

We found this place through TripAdvisor and thank to everyone voting for this resto! The main course of veal with tuna sauce and salat was out of this world! Ecological vegetables and wine! Excellent! Wow Best

Made a reservation here after finding it on tripadvisor. Very friendly waitors, and a menu with well labeled vegetarian and gluten free options. When I asked what could be made vegan, they suggested a couple of antipasto, a soup, and two entrees. I had the...More

Great service and wonderful food! Our group was in a hurry and they did a wonderful job of getting us served very quickly. This was the best lasagna I've ever eaten!!

I visited Il Desco Bistro for lunch together with my wife. She was happy about her food, mostly nicely prepared vegetables, I less so. Uninteresting flavors and presentation. Service, however was nice and helpful.

We were going to try the set Summer menu but instead chose to eat family style with a variety of appetizers and main courses. The restaurant is in a hotel and tiny, reservations are definitely recommended. We had the Tuscan ham with melon and feta...More

We stopped in here for a quick lunch but we were very soon told how this would happen when we tried to order a glass of water. We were stopped in our tracks with "first I give you the menu, then you take some time...More

We stumbled into this restaurant and were pleased by the fresh and organic foods offered. Reservations might be a good idea, they were quite busy!

Amazing food. Great fresh vegetables grown in their garden. Everything tasted great. Outstanding service :-) I like spicy food and they brought me peperoncinos in a grinder. The flavor of the spice was so perfect, I went and bought dried peppers and a grinder to...More

We were hot and tired and did a quick search to find a high quality restaurant for lunch. This place was so accommodating of our infant and the food ( and wine) was perfect. Fresh, well prepared and creative. Marinated zucchini with burrata was especially...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city

We are located in the historic center of Florence, between Piazza del Duomo and San Marco and we offer a simple and tasty cuisine, made with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality. We owned a small farm in Reggello that provides us vegetables, fruit and extra virgin olive oil certified organic by ICEA. For this reason our menu is seasonal and changes every three months according to the production of the garden. The focus is on offer vegetarian dishes and great attention is paid to the Gluten Free offer, almost everything on the menu is suitable for people with celiac disease! Limited offer of meat, but always available in most traditional recipes:)
