Restaurant based on the idea of organic, fresh, handmade food, with plentiful vegetarian options and some vegan ones. They produce their own olive oil and wine, which are definitely a plus: the “Radice Tonda”, the one we took, was delicious. Really nice staff that makes...More

We had a cooking class at Vivanda, where we learned how to make 3 kinds of fresh pasta by the guidance of the chef Marina who was very friendly and helpful. Afterwards, they cooked that pasta for us and they spilled different sauces on them,...More

We tried to eat here one night and didn't actually accomplish that. Showed up at a little before 6pm and though there was no sign on the door indicating a special function, it appeared that the restaurant was full with a cooking class. Since we...More

We stumbled across Vivanda two minutes away from our rented apartment on our first night in Florence. The food was superb and the organic wine was equally good. And they do a hefty discount on take away wine too. We chose a selection of dishes...More

Great service and great food on a quiet street. Absolutely worth it. We ordered the specials as we believe that means in season ingredients will be used. We enjoyed each dish and the server was kind and helpful.

We were thrilled at the prospect of dining at Vivanda when we saw their menu posted outside the restaurant – but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. We were the first to be seated for the evening meal. We were led to...More

This small, lovely restaurant is everything you could want it to be. Every dish is expertly conceived and prepared, simple and sophisticated. Worth mentioning, our first foray into organic wine was a game winning home run. We are admittedly carnivores, but our lunch consisted of...More
