I can use one word to describe this place: tradition. You can taste really traditional tuscan dishes into an original tuscan trattoria. Taste the prosciuto di cina senese and a glass of wine and you'll be in paradise.

My favourite restaurant in all of Italy. Real Tuscan food from original Tuscan recipes. The wine list is "fuori classe" as in exceptional. This restaurant is a bit outside Florence, but absolutely worth going for. The Gori's are running their restaurant with passion for food and wine in absolutely high quality. The best way to describe the prices are: Value... More

Authentic Tuscan food that is absolutely delicious. We started with a platter of cheeses and salamis as well as a plate of bruschetta. Absolutely delicious. Then came this awesome Florentine steak. It was close to 2 kg for the four of us to eat! And we did!!! Not touristy at all. Topped off with exceptional service.

The first time we went to Burde was really good. We were starving and stopped in based on the recommendation of our AirBnB host. The Taglierone plate we ordered was the best we had during our trip around Italy. We ate in the front area, which is more casual. The next visit for lunch was spent in the dining room... More

Very traditional Tuscan recipes with the best of fresh ingredients cooked superbly!! asked Andrea for a wine to match your dishes and you will have the ultimate eating experience. Not the easiest to find but since it has been around since 1901! it is well worth it.

We have been there for a graduation dinner, 12 people with a pre-agreed menu. Food really outstanding: tagliatelle with cinta senese, polenta with black cabbage, and peposo are extraordinary!. Very large quantities (we have come out with big doggy bags!!) and really nice service, all at very reasonable price. The only areas to be improved are the restroom to be... More

The only con here is that it's far from the city center, you have to go there by cab or bus (line 75, I guess). For the rest, let home your dieting hopes... Time to fill the belly with some juicy meat, pasta or any other stuff they prepare, following the local tradition. Do not forget to pick a local... More

Meat was amazing. Didn't look much from outside but once inside it was friendly and everything we ate and saw was quality. Wines were recommended and perfect
