The sweetest staff/owners you will meet! We wandered in randomly and the diners at the bar insisted we needed to try the burger. So we stayed and had a delightful visit with the owners and enjoyed a pretty amazing burger...and you get to watch them prepare it in front of you at the little bar. Of course you travel to... More

After walking around the Spirito Plaza area for several hours, we dropped in the Ringo Bar for a glass of Chainti and bathroom break the wine was good, bathroom clean. The access to the bathroom was through the prep space for the kitchen....love discovering this way!

My Wife and I dropped in for a glass of Pinot Grigio Collio. Very pleasant service as we sat outside and watched the world zip by trying to copl down in the 38 degree heat. We ended up staying for a wonderful glass of chilled Gran Guardia Lugana and a few delicious and well made Espresso Machiatos. Happy to go... More

Ringo's has an an old sign outside saying Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers and Hot Dogs. When you go inside, the decor is all 1970's with shelving lighting changing from pink to purple to red then blue! This place is an institution for friends who have time for lunch (& wine). Don't go if you are in a rush, but do go if... More

I have to agree with all the criticism described in all the reviews, the annoying decor, the glacial slowness of the service and the ridiculous pricing and the possible overcharging BUT the burger was sensational... to be honest, if you're visiting Florence, you can eat just as good a meal, in fabulous surroundings with professional staff!

My French husband found this restaurant recommended in a guide (I'll be writing to them too) Normally I take most issues in a restaurant in my stride as all places can have an off-day but this experience was beyond bad and needs to be recorded. Ringo Bar promotes itself as providing slow food so I was well prepared to wait... More

A really great burger, but not worth the poor service and the very long wait....and way over priced! Just a burger, no side dish, 13 euro. A bottle of water, 10 euro. Took 45 minutes to get the food and we were the only ones there.

Decided to try this place as featured in Lux guide to Florence. Nice little bar, very small but good atmosphere, the cheesecake (a speciality) was delicious as were the home made burgers. Great place to chill out with a bottle of wine. Owner (little old guy) very friendly and kept offering us free things to try which was nice. HOWEVER... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
