The restaurant is located on a side street and could easily be missed. There is outside patio seating and nice cozy seating downstairs. We ordered a caprice salad to start that had nice ripe tomatoes and creamy mozzarella. I ordered a very tasty pork chop in a cream sauce with roasted potatoes. It was cooked perfectly. My husband had the... More

A lovely setting downstairs. The service was good but did not meet the expectations of previous reviewers. The food was nice. The wild boar was the highlight. The beef stew too fatty; the gnocchi not the best we've eaten in Italy and the Tuscan pesto was very strong in flavour. A pleasant evening.

This restaurant was very close to our Airbnb apartment in Florence. We had our first and last dinners in Florence there, and were very happy both times. The service was excellent and the food very good. I couldn't have been happier.

Had to wait 10 minutes for reservation and they gave us all a glass of prosecco - so nice!!! Very attentive and friendly service. Menu had a good selection and food was yummy. The service was incredible, though!

We stayed in Florence at an Air BNB and got the advice to go to Buca Poldo for dinner. We had primi and secundi piatti and it was delicious! Served with a good Tuscan wine, for a good price and staff was super friendly! Next time we come here again!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant, which we otherwise would not have found. It is located in an alley near the Palazzo Vecchio. A great restaurant and great value. The food is wonderful Tuscan cuisine. Delicious and reasonably priced.

This is an unassuming restaurant with delicious food hidden down an alleyway in Florence. We were on our way to a concert and my son found this restaurant on an app on his phone as being on the way so we tried it. We are glad we did. We sat outside in a cozy area and enjoyed the quiet ambiance... More

Nice choice here..Had a risotto for starter and we also had a spicy sausage penne. Salt cod and slow cooked beef for mains. Large portions and tasty. Friendly staff. Drank the house red which was fine. We chose this place as it was open late (we ate at 10.30ish) and it was a cosy basement place off one of the... More
