Loved the Tuscan tomato and bread soup and the overhead heaters outside. I cannot say that the food, wine or service was particularly memorable. It was around the corner from our hotel, so it was convenient - I guess that's not a stellar review.

Had the best fillet of my life, it was huge at least 300gr and extremely tender. It was cooked to perfection. Very enjoyable supper.

This restaurant was recommended by Gallery Hotel Artes, so we gave it a try for lunch. We were less than impressed. We started with a panzanella salad, which was 95% bread and 5% vegetables. Then my wife had a tasteless frittata-type dish and I had boiled beef with a salsa verde on the side. Both were also underwhelming.

Unluckily for this restuarant we had two fantastic dinners the two days before we went here. By comparison it was mediocre. The food was OK, the atmosphere went missing and the service was less than average. There are better restaurants within 100 yards of this one but it wasn't a disaster by any means.

We loved this restaurant, which was referred to us by the Hotel Pierre when we asked for a good/not too expensive local restaurant with authentic Tuscany food. The first course pastas (which we shared) and the second courses were like excellent home cooking. The wait staff and Manager Maria Ferrara were fun and knowledgeable and treated us like family, We... More

The food was ok (lasagna, ossobucco, chicken) but the service was terrible. I ordered a bottle of sparkling water, which came immediately. Then I asked for tap water. They nodded comprehension but brought no water. I asked again. Nodded again. One more time. They sent over a busboy who said they had no water. Incredulous, I said "I don't believe... More

We LOVED this restaurant! They have an extensive wine and food list to choose from. The staff was excellent, the food was excellent, the ambience was excellent, the prices were excellent, and we couldn't rave about it more. The gnocchi was amazing, and we will forever dream about the fried sesame brie. This is a MUST do in Florence. Shoutout... More

We had a late dinner here one Saturday night in Spring. We managed to get a table, the place was very busy. The staff were fun and despite being busy, attentive. The food was yummy and very Tuscan.

Our tour guide took us to Porcellino for lunch and we loved it so much we went back for our last dinner in Florence! Very local tucked away place close to the leather market and all main sites. You'll find more locals than tourists here - especially at night and the food can't be beat. Classic, well done Italian food!... More
