Try the sweet wine and cream flavour. The lady that served us was great and helpful. We've had three ice creams in two days this is the best so far. Enjoy.

Quaint and close to my hotel (Hotel Silla). I stopped in after a day of touring. The gelato hit the spot nicely. Give it a try. No disappointments and such a lovely lady who served me. Mille grazie!

Possibly the best gelateria in town (believe me, have tried a few) - excellent variety of flavours, including several sorbets. Reasonably priced (unlike some places nearer the town centre), huge portions and truly friendly and welcoming staff who`d give you a taster of any flavour you might be interested in before you decide. Il Gelato di Filo was recommended by one of our tour guides as one of the best in Florence. We stopped in for a lemon gelato and also tried the watermelon which was unique and so delicious. Il Gelato di Filo has a good choice of flavours which, unusually in Florence, includes liquorice, and the gelato itself ticks all the boxes for flavour, consistency, portion size and service. A little... More
