This place represents what I love about Italian cuisine - achieving greatness in tastes without loosing its causal look and simpleness. I walked out of a this place wondering how could one ordinary restaurant, with ordinary prices, staff and meals made out of ordinary ingredients turn into something such an extraordinary experience.

A hidden gem in Florence. The restaurant is small, but we were lucky to get a table. We had steaks, all were cooked rare and very tasty as well as tender. Would not hesitate to visit this place again and recommend it to others.

We had dinner here tonight and the meal was good. Potatoes were sold out. We did like our food and it was nice to eat meat instead of pasta. The only bad thing is we were over charged. At the time we could not make sense of the bill. My husband did not want to offend the owner as he... More

This is a highly rated place in both yelp and TA. It serves honest local dishes at reasonable prices and seems to cater to a mix of local clientele and tourists. Prices are reasonable, portions are large. Not much of an atmosphere and people seem to go there for the food. This is the place that we decided to try... More

This restaurant is almost tucked away and not that noticeable from the street but we chose to eat here after reading good reviews. We ordered one main of steak and the other the beef stew. We ordered the potatoes with both mains which were delicious as mentioned in the reviews we read! The lady serving us was very friendly. One... More

Very short, but decent wine menu with all Tuscan wines. Started with a linguine with anchovies, then I had the entrecôte (I can't manage an entire kg of the classic Florentine T-bone steak myself). Both were fantastic, but the steak was remarkable, and the Castelgiocondo brunello was an awesome match. Will probably visit again the next time I'm in Florence.

One of the better lunches we had in Firenzi. Great place for meat and pasta. Order was quick and prompt. and service was good. Its definitely one of the better places to go to for a good value meal. its so near the Mercato...if you plan to walk the flea market then make this a lunch stop.

Real authentic Italian food!! We had the pork and Veil, with sides of potatoes from the oven and zucchini. It was to die for and melted in your mouth. Best quality food i had while in Florence. Places like these that don't have people out the front begging you to eat there have much better food in my opinion. My... More
