My daughter and I were lucky enough to be staying right on the Via del Leone during our visit to Florence. In the 2 weeks we were visiting from the US, we ate our way across and around the city, but fell in love with the Trattoria Pandemonio, returning for dinner repeatedly. The food was absolutely incredible -- nothing compared.... More

We were recommended this place by a friend who lives in Florence, and were so happy we decided to dine here. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the amazing staff. The atmosphere in the restaurant is a mix of Italians and expats living in Florence, which was wonderful since we don't typically like overly-touristy spots. It felt... More

Definitely reserve a table, the place was busy and we came early. We came with our three year old and the staff was very welcoming, sometimes people can be put off with a small child but they were extremely accommodating. The food was fantastic. Also it was nice to be in an area a little bit off the tourist path.

Wonderful staff made us feel welcome after arriving late because we went to the wrong Via Dei Leone. Very popular restaurant, so reserve a table. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the risotto with shrimp cream and the fried chicken and artichokes. Like the owner said "this isn't Kentucky Fried Chicken" and he was right. We enjoyed the evening so... More

We booked late but we got a table. Just! Food was excellent and filling. Service was informal and friendly. And helpful. We agree with the great reviews for pandemonio. We didn't get to the back room. Maybe next time.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Italy. At the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel, we decided to give Pandemonio a try. It is a cozy, casual, family atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed as if we were dining in a family home. They didn't miss a beat. Our servers offered excellent recommendations for food and wine. This was... More

The food here is amazing and the service was as well. It is a family run restaurant and we recommend reservations, as the place filled up quickly. Service was great and the food was delicious.

Our hotel mistakenly made our reservation for the wrong day. So, when we arrived at Pandemonio, we were told that they had no reservation in our name, but did have one for the following evening. Not to worry, Momma Giovanna and Babbo Rolando Brogi told us not to worry and they would have a table for us shortly, In the... More

We came here for xmas eve dinner and had a wonderful meal. Started with eggplant dish which was devine. Risotto with shrimp and ravioli with Gorgonzola also good. Meat dishes were solid - had the filet and beef stew. Stew was spicy and very flavorful. Desserts were delicious. Cheesecake light and creamy and tiramisu also light and good. Def would... More
