They offer good food, and a good value, but I find the environment too touristy. It's not uncommon to find very large group tours in the back rooms.

The place is nice, the food is average, definitely not the best, but for the price(I went there with a coupon from groupon) it deserves 4 stars!

I lived in Florence back in 2013 and went to this restaurant on a regular basis. Staff where always friendly and took excellent care of us. Food was always of a consonant standard and very prompt - the florentine steak with spinach was amazing as well as there pastas. Not often that you find somewhere you can go to on... More

I went there three days in a row with school. Vecchi is a nice, cosy restaurant in one of the side alleys near the duomo. As I said, I went there with school; so there was quite some noise. Not even once we needed to be quieter and the staff remained very friendly. In the background they played music that... More

Apparently we can't give some place less than one star, but if I could I would. This the first time in 30 years I found a restaurant in Italy which serves uneatable food. This pizza was really bad. Even the garden salad was wilted, warm and brown. The service wasn't bad it just wasn't the usually excellent service. It is... More

Me and my husband were on a walk in Florence and found this place. At first we enjoyed it but the food was not that good. Тhe pizza was like ready to cook and it was the first place where my tiramisu was served with a fork.

I hardly ever write reviews but I feel it's necessary on his occasion! My partner and I were in Florence for one evening looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner at, looking from the outside this place looked nice, how truly wrong we was! We decided to choose this one for our evening meal, (we are not picky people... More

I didn't think it was possible to get bad pasta in Italy but this restaurant proved me wrong! I ordered the lasagna and it was so bland and tasteless I couldn't eat it! They did not offer oil with the bread, did not offer cheese or chilis with the spaghetti dish that my husband ordered. It was a very disappointing... More

The best meal in Firenze that I have expirienced! Trully italian cuisine! The prices are affordable and worth it! My beloved pizza quatro formaggio was heaven. As well al other dishes con frutti di mare were brilliant. Very good value for price. Don't miss it if you go to Firenze!

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
