We have never been to Buzzino for dinner, but have had lunch there twice. This rustic trattoria offers hearty, authentic Tuscan meals at a reasonable price by a friendly staff - nothing fussy, nothing fancy. On our most recent visit, it was very cold outside, so we warmed up with a bowl of Pappa Pomodoro (tomato bread soup) and trippa... More

This gem is located centrally, but provides very good value. A family restaurant with friendly staff, they produce fresh pasta, good cold cuts, and good house wine.

We were recommended this trattoria by tourists exiting and we were not disappointed - thank you! A typical Italian trattoria with Italian families enjoying Saturday evening dinner. Pleasant service and wholesome food. I especially enjoyed the pappardelle alla cinghiale, and the house red wine was very pleasant. A decent meal for 38 euros, compared with 75 for something similar the... More

This place is close (but not very close) to the Uffizi, and we enjoyed a good lunch here after visiting the museum.

Straightforward traditional food, nothing special, in pleasant surroundings. Friendly service. Not special.

Good food prepared in an honest kitchen. We took a lunch outside. My husband had a home made lasagna, a beer and I had a pasta with a fresh mushroom sauce and a glas of red wine. Just an espresso after and we were in the mood for watching all the beautiful paintings and statues in the Uffizi.

Having only one night to spend in Florence, we really wanted some old fashioned, homemade, authentic Italian food. We weren't looking for a fancy high end place, but just some really good food. We were thrilled with our experience here! As a matter of perspective, we were staying at the Grand Amore Hotel and Spa, the number 1 rated hotel... More

Delicious, un-fussy Tuscan cuisine made with local ingredients. The trattoria is family-owned (since 1844) and family friendly. Service is attentive, but unobtrusive. Eating here, you feel more like a guest than a customer. Great local wines, homemade pasta (don't miss the potato-filled tortelli), delicious meat sauces, delicate truffle sauces and Tuscan antipasti to die for. Prices are more-than-reasonable. Final note:... More

Our first night in Florence we ate here. Quaint tiny long room off the street with excellent pasta and food! Close to where we live would definitely go back!
