We were extremely lucky to have gotten a walk-in here but I'm happy we tried! It was on our list as a backup which we ended up needing. The food here is absolutely amazing, my favorite was the duck ragu. We finished with a strawberry tiramisu, so good! The three waiters run around the restaurant like busy bees and manage... More

Over a year since I wrote my first review of vini e vecchi sapori, we have eaten there many times since and it is always food of the highest quality. This week they accommodated us at the last minute even though the restaurant was full, and I am leaving a review just to say how friendly the service is, led... More

This place came highly recommended by a good friend, and it did not disappoint. We loved our first meal there so much, that we came back the next day! The papardelle with duck ragu was heavenly. For dessert we had the frozen meringue, which was perfectly light and sweet. The wine pairings recommended by our waiter were spot-on. Overall, this... More

This is a small restaurant, so reservations are a must. The atmosphere is friendly and high energy. We had one of the most delicious meals in Italy yet (and we come often). The menu changes frequently, so everything is always fresh. The ingredients are high quality and artfully but simply prepared. I had an elegant caprese salad, followed by an... More

We had two dinners and 1 lunch here during our stay in Florence. The staff is fantastic and the food is delicious and authentic. First piece of advice, make a reservation! This is a very small restaurant and it is ALWAYS full. If you don't make a reservation, you will be disappointed. The menu is hand written and changes by... More

If you want to taste authentic Tuscan flavors then you are in for a treat. My wife and I only had local dishes and they were all just fantastic!! We started with the chicken liver pate on bread slices; that was a punch of flavors in my mouth. My wife didn't like it so much as she's not a fan... More

We were lucky enough to just walk in and get a table. This is a very small restaurant, and we actually had to share a table with another couple. The staff was helpful and attentive. The food was all excellent. Highly recommended.

We found this place by coincidence and were just lucky to get 2 seats on a table to share. After walking in crowds of (other) tourists we felt like being in real Italy suddenly! We had a mixed Salami plate to share which was to die for!!! No show - just REAL taste! Afterwards different pasta plates and some tripe.... More

Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
