Nice place, very simply designed. Service was good. Good balance between quality and prices. The pizza was really good. Nothing to say. I suggest everyone to try it

This place has ruined pizza for me forever. By that I mean I can’t get pizza now without comparing it to Pizzaiuolo’s & that means all other pizza is bad... Hands down the tastiest pizza I’ve had & I’ve had a lot, in Italy, in...NYC, all over. So so good. Best crust ever. Right amount of toppings & they are obviously top top quality. The only downside was we had to wait a long time for the bill after asking twice. Otherwise this would been 5 stars.More

I ordered the diavolo pizza in this restaurant. Couldn't believe the amazing taste, texture and smell. As soon as I took the first bite, I knew I would dream about the pizza for the rest of my life. We literally couldn't stop talking about it...for hours. Please go there, you will thank us later!More

To give you an idea me and my girlfriend ate 1,5 pizza each because it was so good. On top service is very fast and super friendly.

I have visited Florence twice for the last 3 years. I discovered this great place two years ago. Locals prefer to eat here and they recommended us to visit. Il Pizzaiuolo offer wonderful Napoliten pizzas and Italian dishes. The quality of the food is very...good and the prices are moderate. Florence is a small city and for the lunch or dinner you can take a walk of 15-20 minutes from wherever you are to reach this good osteria. Try the deserts too. Strongly recommended.More

Pizzaiuolo continues to be a place I regularly take guests who come visit Florence. This place offers excellent Neapolitan style pizza, pasta, and fritti in a no-frills trattoria setting. It's important to call ahead of time to book your table, or you might find yourself...with a rather long wait time as the place is pretty popular. In any case, after almost 10 years Pizzaiuolo continues to be one of my favorite eateries in all of Florence for its excellent pizza, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices.More
We ate here for my birthday in November on the basis of a guide's recommendation. We booked in advance which was probably a good thing as the place filled up as soon as it opened. The food was very good - the portions were huge...so we we left some of the starters to keep room for the mains which was worth it. My only negative comment is that our waitress was quite surly and didn't break into a smile until we were leaving, which suggested that the word 'tip' had come into her head.More
We did not reserve in advance, and when we saw the restaurant was full, we were a bit scared, but we got a table! It was full with local people, which is always a good sing! The pizza were delicious! A very good address for...pizzas!More
No, we didn't have pizza, we were tired of seeing pizza and burger joints everywhere we traveled this trip, our host said they don't only have pizza, so we decide to try. Our food consisted of bruschetta, steamed mussels in white wine, gnoccchi, mixed seafood, chianti,...with tiramisu for desert. All very good, not a pizza in sight! Would recommend this place, but careful, they do get booked out, we had to wait almost an hour to get in, we went around the corner and enjoyed ourselves drinking wine with the students whilst waiting,a thoroughly enjoyable night!More
Here I am the outlier again. This place has received some rave reviews. Why? This place isn't bad, but it isn't great either. It's average -- a port in a storm. You won't do wrong coming here, but I honestly don't think it's the world's...greatest pizza place. Let's start with service: rushed, inattentive (except for the check). Food: acceptable (but honestly, I've had better pizza at home). Prices? Probably what you'd expect. And here's the biggest disappointment: they tried to rush us out of there (And they were successful). I have never been rushed out of a restaurant in Italy (or other parts of Europe for that matter) as I was there. Okay, they're busy and they need to turn over the tables, but the check appeared the second we finished our last bite. No opportunity to ask about dessert or anything else we might want. Nope, move it, pal. Okay, it's their restaurant, they can do what they want. So can I. I choose to try someplace else.More
