Walk by it and was not yet open but instead of pointing to the sign the young lady took the time to tell us to come back in 15 minutes. We did not regret our choice. Very kind welcome ,excellent service and even better food.We went back another night and this time the young lady recognise us. Highly recommended

We booked for a Sunday lunch and it was full of locals. The food was outstanding and very good value. Portions were large - the beef I had was some of the best I've had in ages. Nice atmosphere, very friendly. Well worth the visit

We stopped in here for lunch on our way out of town and the place was very busy. We were able to get a table outside in the back of the restaurant which was a perfect place to sit on the nice sunny day, and there was plenty of shade so it was very comfortable. During our meal we appeared... More

This is a small traditional restaurant slightly set away from the main tourist area and better for that. The food was great although service a little slow. There is a nice garden area with tables at the abck for warmer evnings. Recommended

It's Tuscan but served in a non-traditional style with a twist. It's actually high average to low very good food that was basically very solid but lacked a bit on execution the day I visited. Service was very friendly and had the family owned vibe. I had the suckling pig which was cooked well but finished poorly. To explain, it... More

We were staying in this quiet residential area of Florence and we noticed that there were quite a few attractive looking restaurants around the neighbourhood that seemed unassuming and popular with locals. We decided to give this place a try after a day of visiting the galleries and museums of centro storico. We wanted a glass of wine and some... More

Yes I know it's not easy to get everything but I always look for local hand outs. This is not the place. The food was great, the owner and the service was friendly but everyone spoke English. The best part was the grappa offered by the father of the owner on the way out. Prices are a bit high and... More

This small Trattoria near the Arno river was a lovely find whilst strolling the neighbourhoods. Walked by and thought this looked interesting and we were not disappointed. Service was very good and the food was excellent. Nice accompanying wine (of course) and, in fact, we enjoyed our stay so much, we were the last to leave enjoying conversation and the... More

We went to this restaurant as it was close to where we were staying. We did not have a reservation but as we came early we were able to get a table. We had viewed the menu online and ordered some different dishes to sample. Some were not available due to the season but good suggestions were made for replacements.... More

We visited for dinner twice. It was courteous but very slow. It is reasonably priced and friendly to English speakers but we were disappointed by our second visit.
