A cousin of mine told us about the All´Antico Vinaio. We decided to go and taste the Pannini, in fact, the sandwich is the best option there. There are 3 different shops in the same street and as a rule, you are going to see...the queue. It´s always full of people waiting to have their sandwich. Don´t worry, they are experts handling busy days and you are not going to wait for a long time. They have a huge variety of toppings that you can add to your Sandwich such as cheeses, Salami, Olives, Truffle, Tomatoes, onion and what you can imagine. We´ve been for 4 days in Florence and we went to All´Antico Vinaio 3 times. To be frank, the best sandwich that we have ever had in our entire life. Once, we bought a bottle of wine and we stay in the restaurant, it was a great experience. Generally, the services and all the staff were just perfect. The waiter really took care of us. The prices are ridiculously cheap, the sandwich is so big and delicious. I highly recommend it. If you are in Florence, you have to go to All´Antico Vinaio otherwise you´ll lose a great experience.More

Came with my wife and adult daughter. We had three different items. The bread was so hard it cut the inside of your mouth. It preserved meat so some saltiness is to be expected but this was over whelming. Also so greasy that after a...few bites you already felt a bit sick to your stomach. It may have been great in the past but not on the day we were there.More

Since I was young I went to antico vinaio twice a week, specially after school. I tried last week my first sandwich of the year, and it was missing of prime materials, taste and love. Don’t let you fool from the dimension and all those...ingredients coming out from the sandwich, cause they put it like this for the show. But inside there are just few slices and that’s it. Probably cause of the numerous people waiting , we can’t pretend that quality goes with QUANTITY. But I would love to have the same quality of few years ago. Average sandwichMore

Totally worth it. We went during the pandemic and it was not that many people waiting to eat it. There are three different restaurants that provide this type of sandwich (same name) and there is at least two people from the staff queueing people on...the right direction. The sandwich is DELICIOUS, (we went there twice and order 4 different kinds (2 each)) and they have at least 10 different kinds to try. The products are very fresh, including the bread, and very typical from Tuscany region. Strongly recommendMore

We got two paninis with prosciutto crudo and truffle on the go, which were delicious. They were generous with all the toppings and the panini makes a very fulfilling lunch - would recommend!

Yesterday I ate a "schiacciata" filled with ham, artichoke spread, truffle spread, mozzarella and basil and it was absolutely exquisite and tasty. It wasn't my first time here, every time I visit the city I must go back! You have to try this famous schiacciata...if you want to get a full Florence experience. I highly recommend it.More

May not be high cuisine but it's totally worth it a visit. I bought the Joe Bastianich focaccia cause it was the only one without some king of mushrooms or truffle spread in it.. and it was delicious! Only 6 € for every focaccia

Walking past this general area on a Sunday there was such a mass of people (in Covid times) that we had to ask the police what was going on and whether we could safely pass through. It turns out it was people queuing for this...place. We came back for lunch on the Tuesday when the queue was more manageable (10 mins). They offer a range of huge sandwiches. It's EUR6 for a full one or EUR4 for a half. It's not the best sandwich I have ever had, but it was nonetheless pretty delicious. If there's a huge queue I probably wouldn't bother, but if you can avoid having to wait too long, then why not?More

I paid cash, don’t know if they take cards. As their mammoth sandwiches are only euro5 a whack you probably won’t need a card !
