We stopped here first night in Florence. My husband had been dreaming of a sandwich from here as soon as he found it on Trip Advisor. We had the favorosa and the porchetta. We shared back and forth-they are that big but my fav was...the porchetta. I loved the Gorgonzola cheese spread. The favorosa had salami with artichoke spread. The legendary All’Antico Vinaio did not disappoint on our trip to Florence. Four locations dotted the short stretch, all of which had lengthy lines. Employees attempted to herd people into some sort of organized mob to ensure timely service and to ensure that the street...was semi-passable with the crowd. The sandwiches themselves were delicious and unique. I’d definitely recommend having your decision made before you enter the actual building, as things move very quickly and you don’t want to hold up the line with your indecisiveness. We ordered The Boss and the Favolosa, paid, and enjoyed our sandwiches in a nearby plaza. An absolute must in Florence.More

Long queue but it was worth the wait! We ordered The La Paradiso & La Favolosa ang both were excellent. The bread was tasty & crunchy, the meat fresh & tasty. The Best sandwich in Florence in my opinion. A must try!

Not far from the Uffizi. The sandwiches are big and delicious. Great menu with lots of sandwich options. High quality meats and cheeses. We enjoyed getting sandwiches to go here! There is a line, but they are so organized that the line moves really fast.

My wife and I visited Florence during an excursion on a Viking Ocean Cruise this past November. We had visited Florence in 2015 and discovered All’ Antico Vinaio with its great sandwiches on that trip. We went by again this time and got the porchetta...sandwich. It was as good as the first time. Their bread is amazing. The wait in line took awhile but it was well worth it. It was our Thanksgiving day meal. We were in Rome a couple of days later and found another All’ Antico Vinaio about a block from the Pantheon and enjoyed one last porchetta sandwich before returning home.More

Extremely good quality meat, bread, and cheeses. Loved all the spread and vegetable options they had. Best mortadella I’ve had! Mortadella, pecorino, eggplant and truffle sandwich. WOW. We’re vegetarian but we noticed that the workers were continuously using the same hands with meat and vegetables contaminating the vegetarian sandwich as well. Even one of the workers glove was torn so his fingers were popping out. Didn’t seem hygienic place to eat. We...went to another restaurant.More

They have a lot of spectacular sandwiches with different flavors and sauces. I suggest to eat with the carpaccio, pistachio one.
