A great traditional restaurant that serves Gluten free pasta!!! I was happy to be given appetizers options too - we tried two of them - but the pasta was what I came for and it was delicious!

We are the only non-Italian speaking customers - always a good sign. The food was very good, atmosphere friendly, and service appropriate.

An inexpensive restaurant close to the railway station with tasty food and friendly service. It also has the special feel and attention of a family operated restaurant.

My husband is gluten intolerant and we had a hard time finding places to eat in Florence. A resident told us about this place and our last night we tried it. The food was FANTASTIC. And the service was very good. We went there around 7:30 and it was rather empty. But around 8 it started to fill up, mostly... More

Lovely family run atmosphere. Certified by the Italian Coeliac society so safe for coeliacs. We had a lovely and most delicious meal with very good Chianti. The attention to coeliac requirements were excellent and the food was authentic home cooked Italian. The main cousrses were varied and regional, also delicious, and the desserts were excellent! We were really delighted. The... More

Very good chicken " alla maniera di Fabio",very tender and succulent."Spaghetti cacio e pepe" had a little bit too much pepe (pepper) and a little bit sparing on the cacio (cheese).Really nice house wine. Service was contradictory,as it was helpful but shocking the way our "grazie" didn't receive any reply sometimes. I would recommend it anyway.

I stumbled upon this true "find" when limited by a sore foot, and hungry for a great Tuscan meal near my hotel, (on Piazza della Indipendenza.) Sixth sense brought me in, course after course of my favorite picks brought me back the next time I was in town. Recommend: the bruschetta with Lardo Colonnata; (the owner explained it's not precisely... More

If you want to try authentic Italian food then I suggest you eat here. The food is unlike the main restaurants where all the tourists go. I had the cheese and pear pasta it was divine!!! The menu consists of lots of authentic Italian dishes and they are cooked to perfection... really enjoyed my meal here!!

Stumbled across this place after a long day in Florence - food was excellent - very authentic and the family who run it were very helpful with suggestions. The food was seasonal and fresh - I had a wonderful tomato stew (papa al pomodoro) very typical of the region. Others had risotto and steak (which was excellent). Very reasonably priced.... More

My husband loves food and was keen to try this restaurant that appeared positively reviewed on Trip Advisor. Big mistake. We get there, are the only ones there. The waiter takes time to get our order, the male server (assume owner) coughs into his hand and then moves bread from one basket into another and brings to our table. The... More
