Great little place which doubles as a bakery with its own oven. Restaurant food and drinks are all produced by them. Top service and top authentic food. One of my favourites ever.

We go to Florence several times a year for work. Almost every time, we would go to Verrazzano for nibbles and wine in the early evening purely because of its great location. Never again. Our group was charged for SEVERAL dishes we had neither ordered...More

Thanks for the time you spent writing this note. We are very sorry and surprised by your report. What I can read is completely distant from our standards and the quality of our usual service to our customers and if you've been in our place...More

We had a wonderful dinner there and Salvatore was terrific. Many courses and tasted a few different wines from the Verrazzano Winery. Make reservations. This is a small and not to be missed restaurant. Amazing pastries if you just stop in.

This was a great restaurant to step into for lunch on a weekday in late May. We arrived around 12:30 and had our choice of seats but by 12:45 it was packed. The table service area is a small area where you can sit down...More

They have a large selection of pastries, and a few savoury sandwiches. They have a small cosy sitting parlour with beautiful wood panelling. This place is very popular with tour groups as well and you will need to wait for the tour groups to move...More

We had 2 meals at the Cantinetta (I wanted to give them a second chance) both deeply disappointing. I had a bruschetta with tomatoes that were not ripe and the seasoning insipid. My husband's salad resembled iceberg lettuce with a few veggies added. The coffee,...More

We passed this restaurant thinking that it was full, but it extends back and is well worth a visit. Good Chianti accompanied our lunch of Buffalo mozzarella salad and cheese platter, with attentive waiters and a good ambience. There were mainly Italians in there when...More

This fabulous place was recommended to us by a local tour guide, and she knew what she was talking about! We turned ourselves over to our very capable waiter, Salvatore, and he guided us through a delicious lunch experience! We started with a focaccia sampler...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
