Went here on the first night of our stay at the Luccesi just by the Arno and really pleased we did. Good solid Tuscan menu, reasonable prices, very friendly and courteous staff. We opted to share a pasta and then a grilled chicken, simple but very good. No problem with sharing, didn’t think it was odd – waiter brought plates... More

We are a local family and we eat here (or take our meal away as we have small babies) once or twice a week. The menu is delicious and the quality is really fantastic. They have recently moved to a very convenient and strategic location by piazza santa croce. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Florence... More

Excellent steak selection and a good wine list. Well priced menu. Definitely recommended. English menu available, and english speaking staff. Relatively busy, recommend a reservation.

We entered that place early for lunch, Saturday around 12:45, and we found very easy a table to sit. The service was very friendly and fast. We chose two traditional soups, that were delicious and a mix of local cheeses that were mostly hard type. The prices are a little bit high but overall is a good choice that you... More

This place was highly recommended so our expectations were high. The food was good, but too rich for my son and I. The service wasn't that friendly. Maybe they like locals better.

Delicious pasta and helpful staff. We went for lunch after walking up to piazzale Michelangelo, and none of us were disappointed. Great atmosphere with locals and tourists, and always seems to be quite busy. I would recommend it to anyone!

Recommended by our B & B host , and a good recommendation it was. This was our first meal in Florence and was the precursor to some great food. The meals arrived quickly and full of flavour. Yes very enjoyable

I've been waiting years to come back to this place. The drunken spaghetti is not to be missed. (The liver bruschetta is only fair). But the star of the show is the Chianina steaks done in the Florentine style. Bring an appetite and have it with Parmigiano and arugula. The wine list is not extensive or terribly expensive but holds... More

We ate at this restaurant three nights in a row when we stayed in Florence. It was close to our hotel but the real reason we chose to eat here 3 nights in a row were less about convenience and more about outstanding food. The best roast chicken. The best steaks - I tried them two different ways and they... More

Me & my new fiancee visited this restaurant & were very disappointed in the unfriendly and arrogant waiter service we received! I dont think any of them knew how to smile or even talk to you! Our starters were very poor & we didn't enjoy them! On a more positive note our main meals were very good & we enjoyed... More

Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
