The couple that run this gem are fantastic! The man practically dances his way through the small restaurant while talking to everyone as if he's known them forever. They had a daily menu and local wine. I ate the best pici I've ever had and can't seem to recreate. The steak and potatoes were cooked to brilliant perfection. The woman... More

Had a great lunch here. Was taken by a local Cortonosa. All the food was really flavoursome and the owners very very friendly. Would definitely recommend the meat dishes and pasta.

An old couple manege this wounderful homei restorant. Even thow we dont understand a word in italian, we understood each word, the atmosphere was lovely, and the steak was absolutely amaizing! Ecpecially after a week of pizzas and pasta.. the price is good for what you get!

Seats only 20 people this 'Specialita Casalinghe' offers the real home made, home cooked, food experience. They have a daily menu of specialities from the region, and the house wine is locally produced. If you want a special meal prepared for you, just ask them a few days in advance and they will oblige.

We were recommended this small 5 tabled eatery by a friend. Don't imagine much has changed in the last 40 years - but that's what is special about it! The menu is spoken in Italian so be brave and you will end up with something tastey as we did! Can recommend the Ragu!

This restaurant, only open at lunch times, is run by a couple in their seventies. No interior decoration has been done in 40+ years but this somehow adds to the charm. The man is entertaining and chats to all his customers and creates a very light-hearted and fun atmosphere. There is no menu. They put on a limited range each... More

Having lunch at Trattoria Tacconi is like going to Nonna's house. They welcome you in like family. Nonna, Graciella is in the kitchen and can be seen cooking on the stove. Nonno, Angelo is serving drinks and visiting with the guests. The restaurant has five tables and fills up quickly. We had the pici pasta with tomato sauce. It was... More

We stumbled upon this trattoria on a January day when many of the touted restaurants were closed for Feria....and it was our great fortune!! Blessed to have been served by Angelo the fine food of his wife Graciella! If you get the chance, relish the opportunity!! A step back in time!!

The small restaurant is still run by Angelo (in his 70s) with his wife. Five tables, only lunch, no menu (so nona cooks what's fresh and in season) and only Italian spoken here. Simply priceless.

Have been coming here for a quite a few years now. Happily for us, Graziella, her family, and the place, hasn't changed.. We had the pasta Pici, (a fattish hand rolled spaghetti) with a good choice of sauces. Then we shared a Beefsteak and a large portion of the Tuscan speciality Fegato.... A jug of 'Benzina Rosso', (Angelo speak for... More
