If visiting Siracusa you must stop here for lunch. Great sandwiches and cold cuts and cheese boards. Service is fast and priced correctly. Don't expect cutlery and glasses as the food is served in the small tables in the heart of the market while the nearby stalls are selling produce and fresh fish. Ask for the cannoli at the end,... We stopped in and tried out some local cheese, sausage, olive oil and wine -- it was all delicious and we picked up some great things to bring home. Definitely worth a stop, but go early because it gets crowded!

This place was packed everyday with locals and a few travelers. Not much to look at except the line waiting for the handmade cheese and sandwiches. We were with a group and had ordered by phone. You each on some picnic tables set up amidst the market stalls. The food was outstanding. The sandwiches had large slices of smoked cheese... More

I may have it wrong but I believe this place is the restraint next to the deli - Tony make the most entertaining sandwiches ( and possibly the best values) out th. front - his staff carry the palmers to the tables outside - food ++++ entertainment+++++++ If you want the sandwich - it's up to an hour wait

This place was amazing. A little intimidating with all the local hustle and bustle but the server saw my look of confusion and while still assisting his customers, began explaining (in english) the ordering process to me. We ended up having their sample platter of deli meat and cheeses. I ate everything before thinking to take a picture if was... More

If you go to Siracusa, don't miss Andrea's show and perfect cheese plates! You will have absolutely fresh chees, prepared daily by the family, plus a surprise by the end of your food experience with him. Try it, we enjoyed everything in Andrea's shop!

We couldn't resist to visit the place reading the reviews. We had an enourmous sandwich made in front of us by the master. It can't be described how delicious was it and how many different kind of fresh local products (ham, salami, orange, tomato, different kind of cheeses, spices, lettuce and so on and on and on) have been stuffed... street food of Ortigia. Dairy Borderi serves a wide range of products and typical Sicilian cheeses made by hand. We are in the market of Ortigia, and the place we serve our sandwiches and platters. We carry out the catering service and ship all over the world.
