a good typical sicilian restaurant. There was a lot of italian families. pastas are good, service is nice and the fresh fishes grilled in front of you on the terrace are great. Simple but deeply enjoyable.

Our guide recommended this place and even spoke to the owner about treating us well. I can only imagine what it would have been like without that! We ended up eating pretty much only the mozzarella because we got sardine balls in agroforestry sauce, sword fish balls, fried little fish. No one could eat the sardine balls so we left... More

I'm a bit hesitant when my Airbnb host recommended us this restaurant - because we saw some negative comments in this forum, but since we passed this restaurant every day, because it locates at the fresh market, we decided to give a try for our last night dinner in Sicily - We really regretted even since!!! Why? It's the best... More

We walked past here twice on our way to the 'busy' parts: But went here as secret Sicily advice hit home. Brilliant. Swordfish and clam pasta best ever. Our host recommended a small plate, spada balls, lovely. Ricotta pie to finish, house wine very good. Will go back again.

Very fresh fish grilled on charcoal in the street. Nice antipasti (caponata was excellent), cheap wine, spada was not very well cooked however (was not juicy).

A bit hard to find but well worth it when you do. Unassuming outdoor cafe at the market but surprisingly good & many locals eating there. Eggplant rollatini was one of the best dishes I've had in Sicily. The prosciutto was good - no too salty & four generous slices. My husband had tasty sausage that was grilled over an... More

After reading the reviews about this place I was excited to try it. Living close by I walked past a few times and saw the grill in use, a number of customers eating outdoors and thought it would be a good choice. I ate on a Friday night and found the food and staff/service to be lacking and uninspired. Due... More

We found this place by accident. We were wandering around Palermo and decided to turn into a smaller street. We found a great food market and saw a restaurant where we came back in the evening. It was the best choice as Trattoria Supra I Mura is a place where the food is great, the surrounding is non turistic and... More

Small place stumbled across in Capo. Bill came to €59 for 3 without any wine which felt rather expensive for some reason

We ate here twice for dinner in May. The first time the outdoor grill was going, the place was bustling and the service as very friendly and attentive. The second time the grill was out and the staff spent most of their time inside glued to a soccer game. Both times however the food was excellent and the value for... More
