Went there after reading few good reviews, good seafood meal for a fixed price of 30 pounds, only exception is for the large quantity of frozen prawns mixed with local seafood, it is a shame that in sardina all restaurant le serve king prawns from Malesia pretending it is local. All the rest was fresh and local ( not sure... More

Why are there not more restaurants like this? They have no menu: they just give you what they happen to be cooking today. Results: enormously better value for money; really skilled cooking; marvellously relaxed atmosphere. (When I lived in Berkeley, California, in the early 1970s there was a wonderful restaurant called Le Petit Village where they did the same: I... More

the place is highly valued among locals - as any experienced traveller knows - you should eat where locals do! Price is E30 and you eat what chef is actually cooking. I had the 5 dish set with seabass as the main, smoked tuna as a starter and some tasty extras in the middle. Recommended!

Lived in Italy for25 years and I certainly think this has been one of our great experiences.Fantastic seafood served with a smile.Always a good sign to see locals getting tucked in !! A special chair only for the use of " Riva" the greatest Italian footballer sits in the corner !! Highly recommended unique experience.

Its a marine atmosphere in there which we really liked. The size of the hole menu we got were very big. More than enough and we are good eaters. All the differnt kinds of mussels, squids and fish were all very good. The house wine is okay. We really loved that place, and if i will be in cagliari again,... More

There is no menu, you just sit down and eat fresh fish according the chefs choice. A mix of starters, some primi and a mix of secondi, Giacomo knows how to please his guests. Wine if the house (local Sardinian) or a bottle from the list. Very fair pricing (paid 30 euro / person) Don't expect a fancy place but... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by the guy that ran the B & B we were staying at. We knew there was no menu and were fine with this. Some people may have found the old fashioned decor charming, and indeed if the food had been fabulous then I may have found it charming too. The first course was... More

A humble little place where you are offered white or red wine in an unmarked bottle (you can order beer) upon seating, a sack of bread arrives at the table shortly after the drinks and just about when you're beginning to wonder when a menu might arrive, the starter is put down in front of you - a variety of...
