Recommended by our B&B hostess, she was right on the money. Surprising big place inside. Good simple, plentiful seafood dishes. We had clams, mussels and shrimp. Pasta was good. House wine was quite good. Overall, a pleasant and relaxed dinner.

We arrived at about 2030 but the restaurant was super busy so we got asked to come back at about 2130. We got back a bit early (2110 truth be told) and got seated within about 5 mins. Staff were friendly and spoke good English, they were really accommodating considering how busy this place was. I ordered a dry Sardinian... More

Visited this restaurant with the family, we all choose different dishes and they all tasted very good! My spaghetti ai ricci was very nice but also my fiancé spaghetti vongole tasted great! I would definitely go back!

We arrived early evening to s beautiful quaint restaurant. The restaurant was fairly quiet having only opened 1/2 hour earlier. We were promptly seated by a friendly waitress. Bread and oils were produced and our order taken. The food was outstanding along with the service. Within 1/2 an hour of arriving the restaurant was full and people were queuing for... More

This extremely popular restaurant is hard to beat on value for money. A fabulous selection of Italian dishes (pizza, pasta and seafood) all looking very tempting. For us the pizza was great, freshly cooked and hanging of the edge of the plate at around €7 to €8 each. A good wine selection, although did not get to the desserts due... More

This backstreet trattoria in the old town was recommended by the UK national newspaper, The Telegraph, amongst others. No outside tables, just a low vaulted, atmospheric three room restaurant. The swordfish carpaccio has been recommended already by several reviewers and I add mine here. It is so good that when we went back, we had it again. I had the... More

I had there great Spaghetti ai ricci di mare meal. The meal was prepared to the perfection. One of the best pasta dish I have ever had. The house wine (the Sardinian one) was good and just 2€ for ¼. The service was good. The only one negative point I can see are the cramped tables like sardine.

A lovely, small place - albeit slightly claustrophobic - at least the room in which we were seated. Nonetheless, the staff was very pleasant and the gnocchi and pizza with sardinian sausage which we were served were of generous portions for a low price. Although very tasty, we weren't able to finish our plates!

Reading many reviews from Tripadvisor I was curios to try out this restaurant. It's located near the wall of Alghero center. You do need to book a table in advanced because it's so popular. You will find well cooked and genuine sardinian dishes. I tryed the smoked salmon as starter and the the fabuluos swordfish al forno. Served with an... More

Dining out is never just about the food, it's the wholesome experience. We can't judge the food - we never got the chance to taste it - but the owner needs to learn a lesson or two in hospitality. We came by without a reservation and were told to come back in 30 minutes. We went for a drink at... More
