My husband, two friends and I visited Alghero on 19th September, we found this restaurant by chance, it was in a beautiful location, that's where the positive stuff stops. We were were seated and had menu's thrown at us, we then decided what we would like to eat and drink, the waiting begun, after half an hour and several other... More

Dined on my own the 1st time & felt at ease!! Went back another 3 times with a friend! We chose to sit outside each time & dinner was interrupted by rain! The staff handled the pressure of trying to accommodate us all with ease!! Food was amazing!! Insalata Di polpo.......buonissima!! La creama catalana.......superba!! Can't wait for my next trip... The restaurant has a good land and sea menu and the food is reasonably priced. My husband had a lasagne which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had fillet steak with gorgonzola cheese and mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly and the waiting staff were very friendly and efficient. Only minor suggestion would be to ask customers if they would like... More

My main complaint was about the service; all the staff were obviously graduates of the Basil Fawlty charm school. We sat for 25 minutes without even being asked what we wanted to drink. We felt self-conscious about everything we ordered and simple tasks like bringing parmesan cheese was all a little too much, it's a shame because the location is... More

The location of this venue is excellent, overlooking the beautiful harbour, and the food itself is okay, however the service of the staff is extremely poor and not acceptable. After being seated we were left alone for a long time before order, food service, it was just horrendous, I had to continually chase the waitress...and follows the other bad reviews... More

A restaurant with above average food, service (and prices :-)) in Alghero with the best location. We had classical dishes (caprese, pasta, veal...) and everybody was quite happy. In general nice atmosphere

First of all, I don´t mind to pay a little extra. This location is good and it´s a shame to se it being destroyed like what they do here. The manager and chefs can´t be good here. The waiters didn't seem to enjoy the work at all and the food was really bad. I complained and got refund, but we... More

We waited for a table as the setting was lovely, all the staff seemed in a rush. We ordered our food. One starter was luke warm as were the potatoes with our main. Overall an average restaurant with good views

Overrated fish restaurant that serves uninspired dishes where you have to make your own dresssing and peel hot shrimp.covered in tomato sauce. The food and wine were tasteless.

The Movida is located on the enchanting ancient ramparts of Alghero overlooking the harbor. The cuisine is genuine and based on fish dishes typical of the area, prices are fair (Cover and Service free) and the atmosphere is good.
