Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food was eatable, had much more tasty Italian food in other countries which is a pity… ravioli for me was undercooked, with not much filling with basically tomato purée, no much flavour to it if it wasn’t for parmesan. Wine was ok the same service....Wouldn’t recommend come back again.More

Dried pasta not fresh and undercooked… stock Passata from a jar used with the pasta, the ravioli is a frozen variety but all edible. The boar! Do not bother it is not even something your dog can or would eat!! Not fresh and not even...edible it is that tough!! Absolutely the worst plate of food I have had in Sardinia. Pricing is ok the wine is reasonable and priced well. The vegetables where the only fresh thing served to us and they where good. The rest was absolutely dreadful even my Don Carlos marinara was tastier. 75 euros for 2 - I can cook better with my hands behind my back.More

The location in the streets of Bosa is very beautiful and romantic. The food was great. We had the pulpo salad with onions and tomatoes and it was the best pulpo salad we ever had. Also the fish of the day with sauce was really...good! Make sure to make a reservation during main season.More

The location is quite nice but the food is way too expensive. The quality is okay but it is nothing special. The service was terrible. You better go somewhere else.

Got decent reviews and the setting was nice, but that's it. The service was not welcoming, in spite us being the first customers that evening. We ordered fish and boar. The grilled fish was OK, but way to expansive, and the boar a catastrophe. When...you add the salad with some lettuce and a couple of tomatoes, without any dressing, it completes the picture. A tourist trap.More

Almost all the seafood is frozen and the service is so slow that I never saw my « primi piatti ». Of course the terrasse is beautiful but that’s all. Lovers of italian cooking, avoid !

Been here with three friends. We had a round of seafood starters with carpaccio of swordfish, octopus salad, octopus in spicy tomato sauce and angler fish with tomato. Then we ate an amazing fish soup with “aragosta” (local lobster), rock fish and other in light...spicy tomato fish broth. Both the starters and main dish were just awesome, accompanied with a fresh local vermentino, perfect companion for the meal. We closed with a local dessert (raviolotto cooked with Malvasia) then coffee and “acquavite” (typical Sardinian spirit distilled from grape, not from wine). Very friendly, welcoming and professional staff, awesome location in the hearth of Bosa, and reasonable prices, considering the quality and the quantity of food.More

Our party of 7 were all wowed by our meals and choice on the wine list. Delicious pork and herb starter, followed by melt in the mouth lamb and the famous sedas desert with an excellent desert wine yummy. Others raved over the boar and...seafood. What a find after our disappointing experience with another Bosa restaurant. The service was great and the restaurant inside cosy, the only draw back, no background music to enhance the ambiance.More

I researched a nice place to eat some lunch on a day trip to Bosa and was not disappointed. I arrived at Ristorante Borgo S. Ignazio shortly before midday and booked a table for lunch at 12.30pm. The seating outside was beautiful and all three...courses were delightful. It is everything that al fresco dining is all about when you are on holiday. Oh but the flies, I got no peace having to constantly bat them away. Maybe it was because I was sat under the vines but either way the restaurant has nothing to do with nature, flies fly where they fly. Lovely restaurant, not to be missed.More

Came across this place by chance when strolling through the back streets of Bosa old town in the morning. Came back after visiting the castle for lunch. It was busy inside and out - they managed to find us a table outside, was lovely eating...on the cobbled pavement of the old streets, lovely atmosphere and setting. Delicious pasta - we had the crab spaghetti and the meat pasta and both were delicious and generous portions. Service was swift and friendly.More

We had dinner for two having walked past it on the way back from the castle. Very good service and food. The wild boar was good and the pork even better. It’s best to book if you want to sit outside but it’s beautifully renovated...inside and the foods the star anyway. All of it was great but the fried sweet ravioli desert was a great way to finish.More
