It is nice located, small restaurant. Big windows make impression that people sitting outside or at least in a kind of patio. Food is good and fresh - we ate frutti di mare. Unfortunately, if you prefer better food for lower price than Taranto can offer such a place easily. I have got impression that is it the restaurant you... More

Good traditional food with special view on the Aragonese Castle and the canal. The restaurant is owned by a family keeping tradition of good traditional food, mainly fish and seafood. Relaxing and nice for family lunch or for dinner - when possible in the terrace!

On a windy day in May , the wind blowing so fiercely that we were almost blown from the bridge over the canal connecting the small sea (mare piccolo) with the big sea (mare grande) we were saved by diving into a restaurant: al canale, just at lunch time. I am of the opinion that it was just a waste of money. Service is terrible, only the location of the restaurant is great.

Very posh restaurant. Recommended by The Plaza Hotel this was a real treat. We were seated outside overlooking the water. Delicious food mostly fish. A little bit pricey but well worth it.

The food was just great. Amazing raw fish and mains. The highlight was the antipasti selection: a feast of raw fish, with a huge variety of seafood and shellfish.

It took 15 minutes yo the menu (even so it was not crowed). The owner took the order and double charge the starter and main course. The food was just ok. The worst experience we had in Italy so far

I appreciated the nice location. This fish restaurant offers fresh fish daily and prices are reasonable. Staff is very kind and professional.
