Nice welcoming in this Italian trattoria. We had numerous and tasty antipasti, then good (slightly overcooked) fish and local wine. It seems that the revisited "baba au rhum" is quite famous.

We had the antipasti to start which was delicious - particularly the anchovies, mushroom bruschetta and the courgette frittata. To be honest all of it! The pasta was all mouth-wateringly good and the fish succulent. I would particularly recommend the 'pasta Sophie'! The patron was particularly helpful in directing our choices and the wine was reasonably priced

Food was ok. Staff was unpleasant. Be careful with invoice. For example we asked to bring one meal they wrote to invoice 2 and after that they said that " oh we sorry but you ordered two" ... so one "two" appetizers and 2 second meals with glass of wine 87 eur... food not value that sum of money. Check... More

Very nice meal, attentive service and good food, all from fresh local food. But a bit on the expensive side

Used TA to find this place just off the sea front at Brindisi. Not a large choice but the food was good and tasty. Wine was good. The two waiters were friendly and efficient. The decor was a bit dated but the restaurant was close to our hotel. Reasonable prices.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend of mine, it is a little bit off the beaten track, very good food, excellent local beer, and couldn't go beyond the antipasti and the primi piatti. Recommended!

Had a few hours to kill and we took T.A. recommendations on where to go. This restaurant was ranked #1. Decor is extremely dated and lacks the charm of a few other local spots. Food is of fair quality. The problem is two fold: 1) crowd was entirely foreign and clearly taking the same unwarranted TA rating - there wasn't... More

I visited here with some colleagues for dinner. We had the mixed starters to share which was lovely - i really enjoy this in this region lots of little dishes to taste and try, each one as tasty as the last. For my main I had a catch of the day which was a local white fish simply cooked to... More

A cold rainy rain with our cruise ship in Brindisi - we headed to Trattoria Pantagruele, and the town suddenly seemed a much more cheerful place. Tucked away in a little corner just off via G. Garibaldi, and not far from the waterfront, Pantagruele offers an interesting menu, delicious authentic Italian food, and friendly efficient service. The antipasti could have... More

Great selection of dishes and wine; great quality. You wint be disappointed. The waiters can speak English and will take the tune to explain the dishes.
