We came to the restaurant with high hopes, however left with bitter notes. The food was over cooked and we had to send it back. The restaurant itself was sweltering hot and the flies were nicer to us than the owner.

We ate as antipasti some fried mixture of sea and land meat... (ok, our mistake) For primi piati we went for the risotto with seafood (90% just plain risotto) very few seafood (all refrigerated) and the calamarata with asparagus sauce (90% just pasta with sauce)....More

We had lunch here. We always find Bari to be a bit of a challenge at lunchtime; we haven’t found where the locals eat. The seafood carpaccio was really good but the octopus seemed to be warm or slightly cooked - odd (I think). The...More

We only chose this restaurant by chance and because we could sit outside. Food was on the oily side and pricy for the quality. Service was hit and miss, overall not particularly friendly and we also witnessed very rude service towards other customers.

I had seafood pasta, and a mixed fried seafood , local wine. Fish were fresh and delicious. Staff speak English . Prices were ok , not too expensive. Nothing crazy , just very good food.I mean...that's exactly what I expect from a restaurant.

Despite it being a (cold and snowy) Monday we ordered fish for lunch. I would normally be wary of that on a Monday, especially as the weather had been bad, but my Tuna was excellent. Service was friendly and prices fair. The only slight negative...More

We have been there at dinner last week. The seafood pasta was very good and has a very strong sea taste. Also really good white Puglian wine.

Be among the firsts after opening as it is filling quickly. We had an excellent mix grilled fish plate. Also the ricotta and chocolate cake was great.

Description
Outstanding, cozy and refined atmosphere, impeccable service make restaurant La Muraya an absolute reference point in Bari. In La Muraya all the authentic flavors of the local cuisine are worthy home space. The welcome and hospitality that the staff, led expertly by the owner Nino renowned for its "turn" the tables to make sure that everything goes well, next in search of ingredients kilometer zero and first choice are just a few of the strengths of La Muraya. Especially appreciated are the dishes of fish (the famous "ravioli" with squid ink and "spaghetti alla chitarra" with sauce of cicadas Greek) fixed menu and daily specials (which vary depending on the raw materials available).
