This was the nicest place we tried on our trip to verona! We began with a meat and cheese platter and it was delicious. I had the Corone del Re (cheese wrapped in beef) and it was fabulous and exceeded my expectations. My boyfriend got...ravioli with beef cooked in wine and was the tastiest pasta we tried. We finished with a chocolate cake and a semifreddo al torrinoncino - it was l a creamy nougat ice cream, topped with nuts and caramel, this was a MUST TRY! Including a glass of wine and a beer our bill came to €66. Couldn’t recommend enough. It helps that’s it’s ran by a very nice couple who are the cutest team.More
What a great find for traditional italian food!! Husband and wife team run this small eatery, be patient, the results are definitely worth it. The local cheese platter was nicely presented and tasty, we had 2 specials, my pasta with truffle was just right, my...wifes pasta with salted roe was salty and fishy (apparently that is what is required). Desserts were a highlight with an off-piste pistachio semi-fredo making a guest appearance... It was the best thing I have tasted this year!! Best of all, the price was so reasonable. I would 100% recomend you try this place, IF you can get a table.More
Simple and delicious dishes, great prices. Lovely couple running the restaurant, feels like dining with family. Highly recommend. Food freshly prepared to order.
Fantastic small restaurant run by a lovely friendly couple.authentic Italian food.very delicious and not too expensive.will definitely be coming back
Lovely place a little bit hidden in a small street, but easy to find with google maps. A small restaurant with really nice owners. We had earlier eaten antipasti at another place, so we only ordered pasta and shared a great dessert (semifrozen icecream with...taste of torroncino). Very good! If we had not eaten antipasti first, we would probably have needed to order something more. They helped us to pair a good wine with the food. They also sold cheese, charkuterier and their own marmelade. If you are searhing for something personal and that is not the usual tourist restaurant you should absolutely go here!More
This was a very nice and small Italian restaurant run by a welcoming Italian family and feels like you’re eating your “grandma’s food”. It is very well priced and the food is very good quality. I would highly recommend it if you want something traditional...outside the commercial streets.More
A lovely place run by an a lovely couple. Good selection of authentic Italian food . Yes I’d go again definitely
Really aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Very Italian! Small portions of you are hungry girls like us, but cheap stunning wine. Couple who owned the restaurant were cute, didn’t seem like they spoke much English. Wouldn’t go back but was an authentic experience and we had fun!
I truly left this place with my heart full. I don't like to go to very turisty places so I made an extensive search of something local. It's not to far from the Arena but it's a little hidden within a street. I came soon...and I was the only one there. I had bread, the menu of the day (caserecci all amarone), a beautifull glass of red wine and in the end Claudio gave me a little of his own made chocolate to taste (which was perfect). Although the food was good, it wasn't suuper extra but the experience itself was really mindblowing. I was alone, so Claudio sat with me from time to time, he told me places to go, things to see and we talked a bit between Portuguese, Italian and English on a way to understand each other 😊 So please go here, you will not regret it!!!More
Charming little restaurant, with a bit of a peculiar menu. Mostly cold cuts, cheeses, etc, with only a few warm dishes on offer. Prices are fair, quality of the food is decent but nothing spectacular. The dessert I had (semifreddo) was really poor however and...the recommended wine really wasn't that great either.More
I went with friends and all of them agree that this place is very authentic the service are locals and they are very nice. The plates are delicious and the price is not very high for the quality they offered.
A hidden gem. The menu looks complicated and disordered but the food is sublime. The salted swordfish and the tagliatelle salted mullet special were amazing. The cheese and meat platters are freshly prepared from the extensive ranges in the cold delicatessen style display cabinet. The...desert menu is also very different but worth a try. Overall an experience we enjoyed so much we went twice during our 4 night stay.More
A nice family run restaurant. The menu is quite rustic.. prices are good as is the food. We ordered 4 plates two warm and two cold which was enough. Recommended.
Visited with my wife and mother last month. Food and service were great. I would have given 5* if the owners hadn’t had a domestic towards the end of the night!
