We arrived here by chance and were very pleased. The service was very friendly, spoke English and was very attentive. I very much like the wine menue and enjoyed the Risotto with Amarone.

This is a large, popular and busy restaurant. The food was excellent and service was friendly but slow. Some might find the noise level irritating.

Requested a reference for dinner from our hotel (Escalus Luxury Suites). Asked for something within walking distance, outside seating if possible, for authentic local cuisine. The hotel made the reservation for us without any issue, including an outside table. Needless to say we were not...More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and they were right. Amazing food. We both ordered the 3 pastas and they were all interesting and delicious. We also split the eggplant Parmesan and it was the best I’ve ever had! I would go back again for sure!

This restaurant was recommended to us as authentic Verona food. The service was terrible and the food extremely average. The place itself felt more tourist than authentic and not at all welcoming. Would not recommend this restaurant as a place to visit when in Verona.

In contrast to those few bad reviews of service, we had a very pleasant experience. Staff is busy and working hard, but a little charm and a smile softens things up nicely. Lamb chops were excellent; liver, very tender and succulent. Wine selection wide ranging...More

Staff very good at pulling in the punters but then not looking after them. Food very mediocre compared to other local restaurants. Strange smells at outside tables. Close to the Julietta balcony. Wife's request for gluten free bread , was given a pack of dry...More

We had just finished a week of cycling in the Dolomites. Our VBT vacation ended in Verona. Our hotel recommended The Ristorante Greppia. Staff, outstanding. Wines, incredible. The asparagus ravioli-best meal while visiting Italy. We celebrated a birthday, complete with sparklers. The whole restaurant joins...More

I went here for dinner before attending the summer opera in Verona. I went solo for dinner, which can sometimes feel awkward for me, but Greppia made me feel right at home. Their servers were very nice and warm and tried hard to give me...More
